Unveiling the Mystery #3 Reference, 3D and study. One of my art teachers back in 2009 always used to say "a good artist should know a little about everything", so I usually take one day solely dedicated to research, including studying the topic, gathering refs and if need be create a 3D mock-up.

okay, 🧵I guess. as a character designer I've noticed clients have really weird traits they assign for hair colour as a lazy cliche shorthand for a personality. blondes are either stupid, or mean. red hair is spunky, unique and approachable. brunettes are bookish killjoys. black is just TOO ethnic
