iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

looks like someone got into my Coven series the past couple days. Hope they leave reviews when they're done

an answer to this, I've now named five different kingdoms, figured out where i want them located, and who rules them. I have my main character named and general ideas of what I want him to do. also have a couple of relationships figured out. Just working on adding a few more characters

Let's see how much of this new world I can plot out before I have to act like i give a damn about my day job again

company wide system outage at work. Lovely. What does that mean for me? Oh, I'm about to sit here and start plotting out a new project, more directly fantasy related, still queer as fuck, still black as fuck.

140

also can I escape the dumbass discourse about whether audiobooks count as reading over here? I'm so sick of it every other day

110

Frankly I'd rather concern myself with just getting more ratings and reviews in general, especially on Storygraph, than worrying about them quarter star ratings

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

so now there's a thing because Goodreads finally updated their star rating system a bit. Meh, ok, I doubt it'll change much. Feels like they're just catching up to what other platforms were already allowing.

Just sent out some audiobook codes from a giveaway for one of my books. I have a lot more codes that could be given out #booksky

Probably. Since the current one hasn't been responsive I'm going to have to find someone else to get them done

There are three left to be finished that unfortunately don't seem likely to be finished by the narrator I had contracted with

as much as I intended to be around more, this neuropsychology class is beating my ass like I stole something

debating on maybe doing a sale in my shop on my books for my birthday in a few weeks. just on the books, of course, not the services

five more classes to finish this degree. This current one I'm in requires me to pass a test as the final. All the others after will be papers/projects. with luck i can finish this by the end of next month at the latest

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

generally i hate jobs making you do tests before getting hired, but its getting hard to argue against a basic PC skills test with the amount of time we're spending having to explain to people how to do things my 5 year old niece could do

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

another day in a training class on this new job, and once again people cannot do the most basic things on their computer. We're working remotely. How tf can you not navigate between windows?

110

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

i'm so tired of them and this bullshit

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

gods save me from having to train with people that lack basic computer skills.

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I do see some irony in the fact that my videos about BLs get more motion than anything on writing/books over on the clock app.

000

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

I haven't been as active lately, mainly because I'm busy with doing school work to finish up this degree and prepare to get out of this place. And most of my free time goes to watching BLs and critiquing them, time that some might argue should be spent writing but it is what it is

100

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

the sheer relief i feel at finally having contact lenses in again is indescribable. I despise wearing my glasses and i've been out for almost two months.

So it's Tuesday. It's release time for the new episode of Knot....and it won't load properly. I can watch other shows but Knot just spins. IQiYi don't piss me off

000

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

nope, fuck this show. I hate everything and everyone in it. i made it 7 episodes but there is nothing likeable about these characters whatsoever. I'm irritated as fuck

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

someone is going to have to explain to me what's so good about ABO Desire because I kinda hate everyone in it.

100

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

haven't done any advertising lately but someone went and bought a couple of my audiobooks. Interesting

000

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

This training class is pissing me off. They don't know how to open up Excel, they don't know how to click and drag. How the fuck did y'all get hired? Ain't no reason the first hour has been spent trying to get these dumbasses to open an Excel and then to click a link to open a site

000

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

i wrote and turned in three papers today, then revised a fourth and turned it in too. Tiring but I want to finish this degree up quickly

000

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Training again. Sad how people get jobs and don't understand how people get these jobs without basic computer skills. The fuck you don't know what a window is and how to change from one to the other?

030

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

in hindsight, maybe waking up this morning and starting the BL Smile After Tears might not have been the best way to start off the day. I need a little more preparation for this level of emotional

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

I found a BL I hate more than any other I've watched at this point. Tharntype. I despise this show so much. How this got so popular is beyond me, and why they gave it a second season is baffling.

000

i hated this show right up until the end. and as usual, the main love interest was the actual worst choice for the little love triangle. Should have chose the friend that was by his side, actively helping him, telling him he was there no matter what choice he made, and got beat up rescuing him

000

it occurs to me as I'm watching this that my time might be better spent editing but it's like a train wreck that I can't look away from

110

all this to be a funeral director? The actual fuck kind of funeral directors are these?

100

feels entirely like this plot is supposed to be carried by "Hey, the silent broody guy is hot so ignore the weirdness of the kidnapping and force feeding and forced training." why am I watching? I dunno, it's a hate watch at this point. I want to see how much worse it gets

100

This particular one, Exclusive Love, just has the most nonsensical plot. TF do you not only kidnap someone, but stuff them in a body bag to do it. All because he's being forced to take over the family business? WTF is this? and now in episode 2, force feeding him. I hate it

100

Drako @drakosden.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

I hate when I'm scrolling through the backlog of BLs I have saved to watch and I settle on one only for it to piss me off in the first 3 minutes of the story. I can only suspend disbelief so much

contemplating on whether I want to focus more on editing for a while. Yeah, I still write, when I can find the motivation but I haven't been feeling it lately. Editing, however, is fine for me
