Mine took a little while to get used to ours but once they got used to the noise they loved it

Also like full disclosure Kouta Hirano is a hentai mangaka and it shows in his style and some story stuff lmao but the series is about vampires fighting nazis and also the Vatican is there. It's unhinged but boy is it fun.

Omg if you ever want company for a watch i fucking love Hellsing. And.... confession i Also thought she was a man until the og series episode when you see her in a bra and I was like *oh.* But yeah whatever she has going on with Alucard makes me kinda insane.

Depression and the eternal battle to not let it completely crush me: the manic drako story

Im swinging wide here cause its my fav series and I know it's a little wild but I feel like from Hellsing Ultimate/Hellsing manga, you'd love Integra and her enby/masc rizz. Also cause she's a little unhinged but like. Twirls hair

It's not quite fantasy but A Gentleman's Gentleman by TJ Alexander is a Regency trans Mc with mlm romance. Will scour my shelves for others i know they're there lol

I actually really would love to write something about it in a more academic way thats not centered around Cyberpunk 2077 tbh but there's a lot of good video essays that came out when the game did that are worth a watch. Most of the articles about it are pay walled unfortunately though

I read up on it after I first started getting into the cyberpunk genre with Fifth Element, Neuromancer, and Blade Runner

Its 4am so I am not coherent rn so short answer... yes. The long answer is something about post cold war Japanese economy and the American government having a bee in its bonnet about the strength of the tech from Asian countries and the imperialist fear of being Not In Control

Oh absolutely I hated her and couldn't get enough of seeing her eat her humble pie but also it felt very like.... smug lmao idk. It takes place in the 50s and the main character is an unmarried mother & atheist in STEM so... It was, ironically, similarly smug but from a slightly different angle.

This one had me devouring it and then at the end also sitting back and like... Satisfying as it was in some ways I felt like it dropped the ball in others lol. Going to try to write a thing with this and Lessons in Chemistry about leftist depictions of Christianity in books to organize my thoughts.

Lessons in Chemistry made me gross cry but I have some thoughts on how a lot of these books depict religion lately and it's troubling how little nuance these authors use.
