I wish life ran like a well oiled machine, but even machines don't run perfectly. What is oil but acquiescence to this fact?

I wish things had form an function, yet even form is powerless. A wall made of glass won't hold up in a storm.

I wish i were solid as stone — whatever stone there is that never weathers. Whose truth is not desecrated by time.

Any wall that does stand is full of extraneous bullshit. It has desecrated itself to get ahead of time. What a fucking joke.

At the core of my being is a yearning for something i will never have: true order.

I want an outlook that never needs to change. Interests that stay with me forever. An identity that is constant.

I want perceptions that are just correct. Knowledge that needs and has no explanation. An end to the chain of "why?"s.

I wish i could have these without enforcement or ignorance. But i can't, and i won't.
