I have fought and will continue to fight for my gender to have access to reproductive rights of all types. If someone tried to ban plastic surgery for women I'd fight for that as well. But if you use your right to get plastic surgery to get bad Mar-a-Lago face for Trump's approval, I'm judging that.

I was trying to get video of the lightning and accidentally took a picture that picked up the shape of the storm cloud.

Pilot managed to get the plane down during this. There was a tornado WARNING in the neighboring county. People 40 miles away from where we landed were being told to seek shelter. Then we leave the plane and the pilot looks like he wouldn't be 30 if you rounded up. That was some wild shit.

Currently wandering around Wheaton College because we're heading to the airport the second the Girl Child is out of the pool at 4:00. There's an old cemetery across the street that had tombstones so old that all the lettering had worn off. And this ominous one. I'm so curious.

Looks like what hit Columbus yesterday was a derecho, not a tornado, but the damage is wild. There are these litlle pockets of crazy damage and then you go 3 blocks and it looks like nothing more than a normal storm happened. We lost one small branch (pictured).

This is how you toe the line between decorum and reality when you're in politics. Being able to speak ill of the dead in a manner in which nobody can accuse you of speaking ill of the dead is an art form. Like it or not, politicians (especially Ds) have to consider the pearl-clutching tone police.

Chiminea kitten (and mama) update. There are only 4 kittens in the video because one went on an adventure and mama cat had to find the baby. They're fostering them to 5-6 weeks until they can get to their first vet visit, then a rescue will take them. Most of them, anyway. I'm sure they'll keep 1. 😂
