Today is International Infinity Day 8/8 because an 8 turned sideways resembles a lemniscate (∞). Despite what Buzz Lightyear says about “to infinity and beyond”, as far as infinity is concerned, there is no “beyond”

When every politician keeps going on about “affordable housing”, can I just say I’d prefer to have a house I can’t afford, but fits my needs and is available at an affordable rent from a local authority.

Putin regime threatens European nuclear plants with horror missile strikes. Clearly the old Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) theory doesn’t work if the leaders of the two leading nuclear powers are actually mad.

Pianist & composer Andrew Moorhead offers a strikingly personal suite of etudes. Finding the perfect bandmates in François Moutin, and Ari Hoenig, their deep rapport generates a kinetic interplay. ‘Mirage’ stands as a bold trio statement and a compelling new chapter in Moorhead's evolving voice.

Thought for the day, my mind’s been wandering again. How do you explain clockwise and anti-clockwise (counter-clockwise) to someone that’s spent their entire life with digital watches and clocks.?

White House calls Star Wars actor 'sick' for AI photo of Trump. How come they don't call Trump sick for posting AI photos of himself as Jesus? And all the other crazy videos he posts like dropping a plane load of crap over marching protesters.

Thought for the day. With all this controversy around King Charles III’s visit to the USA, I think it would be appropriate for him to send a representative. Someone close to the King. Someone like Andrew Windsor I believe would be appropriate.

Given Trump’s all-night social media rants, and his unauthorised use of Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’, with it’s prophetic line “The End is Near”, the end of what? Does he mean himself, the USA, or the whole world?

To all those in the UK that panicked because of the (false) claim that Saddam Hussein’s Iraq had the capability to strike at the RAF base in Cyprus, what are you going to suggest we do now that Iran could probably hit London with its missiles, that actually exist?

Anyone else thinking that Pete Hegseth’s attitude to the Straits of Hormuz is similar to Dominic Raab’s surprise at the importance of the English Channel when it came to UK trade? Stupid people are everywhere it seems.

Today, March 14, is recognised as Pi Day - 3.14, which is a widely used approximation of Pi. However, in the UK, July 22 would be far more accurate as 22/7 is closer to the actual value of Pi - 3.142
