Finally got back to finishing King's Field 3. Definitely my favourite of the first three, lots of really cool stuff in this one.

King's Field 3 ending screen. Text reads "The End" over an image of three crossed swords. The three swords are the Moonlight Sword, the Dark Slayer, and the Excellector. Text at the bottom reads "© 1996 FROM Software, Inc. © 1996 ASCII Entertainment Software, Inc."

Revisited Zestiria for the first time in 11 years as I'm going to play Berseria for the first time soon. I gotta say, I would not recommend this game. To anyone.

King's Field 2 was also great. Improves on a lot of what 1 did, with one notable exception being the frame rate (which sucks ass).

King's Field 2 ending screen. Text reads "The End" over a faded image of two knights stood side-by-side with swords crossed. Text at the bottom reads "© 1995 From Software, Inc. © 1995 ASCII Entertainment Software, Inc."

Finished the original King's Field. Cool game!

"I'll just get this sidequest out of the way quickly"

A notification from the game The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III stating that the objective to gain bonus AP from the quest is to reduce Wallace's HP to 50%.

My own personal hell this time was having to go to 824 kc for hydra claw. The task for DHL gave a demonic pact and I thought it would be a nice easy grab. Hydra decided otherwise.

A screenshot from Old School RuneScape showing my collection log for Alchemical Hydra in Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts. I have 824 kc because that's how long it took for the claw to drop.

Finally got off my ass and finished getting dragon rank. Demonic pacts were cool but I feel like I was less engaged this league. Definitely good fun early on though.

A screenshot from Old School RuneScape showing a summary of my progress in Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts. I finally got dragon rank with 65,450 points.

I've long since accepted I am basic but I can't change who I am.

Video game grid meme except it just says "VIDEO GAME" at the top and the only video game is Disco Elysium in the first slot, every other one is blank.

Ending screen of Trails from Zero reads: "The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero has reached its conclusion. But the story is not yet over... We'll see you again at journey's end."

thanks to the internet it feels like it goes without saying at this point, but silksong was a great game tc cooked by taking the exact amount of time they needed. i hope now that it's out the entire community can find something other than stupid release date memes to fill the void in their lives
