Art by Applegreed Introducing Trix, a transportation pilot. Trix has an incredibly high mission objective completion rate and over a decade of service with Quebracho. Due to her record it was determined that piloting one of the prototype mechs would not yield the desired results. Trix Bio Trix sings to her vehicles stating that it improves the mood of the vehicle.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Xum, the chef. Before Xum, Quebracho mostly used prepackaged food. She single handedly changed that and created a team of skilled chefs. Charaya recruiting Xum to the Helianthus is a highly contested matter. Eventually it was allowed due to the cooking staff being an independent team whose operation is not considered essential to QB's militarized operations. Xum Bio Fun Fact: Xum is the only orphan with Quebracho listed as their home to reach adulthood before going to QB.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Fousafia the Chief Mechanic of Vehicles. She is responsible for keeping the Helianthus and the other vehicles in peak condition. She is less hands on than Galenia, but makes excellent use of her team to get her job done. Fousafia Bio Fousafia is the fourth and final member that knows how to pilot the Helianthus. Her approach to repair and maintenance differ greatly than Galenia's so they frequently have arguments on how to best fix something. Fortunately their responsibilities are completely separate so no major conflicts come from these differences in opinion.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Galin, the Head Medic. She is responsible for monitoring the health of the pilots. This is her first long term assignment away from Riverbrake. Galin Bio Galin is the the older sister of Galenia. Notably Galin is not a doctor or a nurse. Her methods are frequently unorthodox and not readily acknowledged by the medical experts.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Galenia, the Chief Mechanic of mechs. She is someone that focuses on her work, frequently becoming so consumed by it she does not acknowledge anyone or anything else. Galenia Bio Chief Mechanic of mechs, is an interesting label. Galenia is the first character so far that is from Riverbrake (RB), which actually is an organization rather than a location.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Toa from the Valley Pacifists. Toa shares a home region with Nila and wants to bring Nila back. She has put that on hold temporarily because she sees the value in learning more about the world than what just their valley has to offer. Toa Bio Toa is a later addition to the Helianthus crew. She is recruited after the voyage starts.

Introducing Anika, gunner on the Helianthus.

Art by Applegreed Entering Nila: Lead gunner for the Helianthus. What this title actually means is that Nila is the chief of ship defense and responsible for the non mech combat participants. She is 3rd in line for succession should anything happen to the Captain and Vice Captain. Nila Bio In the event the mech pilots are on ship and required to stop a boarding party they would answer to Nila unless Nyx or Charaya say otherwise. Nila sees herself as a bigger sister to the mech pilots, Aster, and some of the other younger crew.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Nyx, the Vice Captain of the Helianthus. If she was not the Helmskin she would be the head gunner. However as her captain rises in position so does Nyx. Nyx Bio Helmskin is just helmsman except it uses "kin" which is taken from the name of their species name "Draconic Kindred" aka Dracokin, aka D-kin. I do not think Nyx was an answer for anyone on line 13. Well she is not exactly the best measuring stick. However as a career soldier she can hold her own in a fight.

Art by Applegreed Introducing the Captain of the Helianthus Charaya. Since the Helianthus is a prototype vessel on its maiden voyage this mission was assigned to someone without a critical position within Quebracho. Charaya Bio Another member of the older generation, but in the eyes of those at headquarters still seen as too young. I wanted there to be a blend of characters that have more beast like features and those that are more humanoid. Also the only character that can fly without wings (so far).

Art by Applegreed Introducing Rowin. Rowin is another character with a role that does not properly capture her activities on Helianthus. She is not one of the original members of the crew, but joined at a later time. Rowin Bio I wanted there to be a clear age gap between Rowin and the pilots to create this sense of there being an older generation and a younger generation on the ship.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Aster. Comms Specialist is her official role, however she typically takes on the duties of a different role. She lists some of the things she is capable of on the first page of the comic. Aster Bio It is finally mentioned. For Aster's "Home", Quebracho is the organization that the Helianthus falls under. The pilot's specifically do not have Quebracho (QB) listed as their home because they all grew up in their home regions.

Art by Applegreed Kaliska is the 5th and final mech pilot. So far I have been using the neutral facial expression, but this one is not. Her Motorcycle is the Najasehi. Kaliska Bio You can see her fighting style on the Fighting Game page.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Iolani. She is the mech squad leader. Only 1 more pilot left before the crew members with other roles get introduced. The Helianthus is the ship that they are all on. Currently there are 17 crew members identified. Iolani Bio I realize I never said the name of the Organization that they are a part of. Well I will save it for one of the members that has it as their home. Hopefully I remember to write some words about it then.

Art by Applegreed Introducing Sonora. Her name is a reference to the Sonoran Desert but it is really about the Sonar/sound meaning. Now the 5th mech pilot's name is mentioned. Fun Fact: the 5th pilot is not in The Comic because when I wrote it she did not exist yet. So I have already retroactively wrote her into it between the existing pages.

Art by Applegreed This is Laharika and her unofficial bio. The mech pilots are getting their bios first because they are the main characters. So far only 5 characters have been mentioned as part of these first two bios. One of those 5 is coming up next. Laharika Bio A post is also on Bluesky so discussion can happen there. I am not sure if I said it here before but comments are disabled on this website because I do not want guests making comments and I do not want to gather anyone's information.

Art by Applegreed This is Sienna the first character of many. Below is an unofficial character bio to get to know her better. The goal was to have some quick info as well as including some non serious things. This version is by no means final. I would like to believe that it is currently accurate, which means I might remember to update it in the future.

Two new vehicles were added. Vehicles page has been updated. There is now a total of five vehicles. ATV-CruzianaThis vehicle is commonly called Cruz by the crew. The Cruz is a model that predates all of the other vehicles that were designed using the latest technology. Despite being an older design it still gets job done; getting a squad from point A to B alive.

I am finally posting the digital monster versions of my characters. These are some alternate design ideas for my characters. For those familiar with Digimon Frontiers these are inspired by that series. Human spirit being based off of the standard form. The beast spirit being based off of the full dragon form. Then the combined spirit being a combination of ideas in the human and beast spirit forms.

I stealth updated the srickers page. Currently the Stickers are sorted in a random order. Head on over to see the new ones individually. The plan is to get 5 animated stickers. I'm still unsure of what they will be.

Iolani Iolani chibi was delayed because Iolani needed a new default outfit.  The original outfit is good but it no longer suits the position she is in. The old outfit was more like a costume for her, the purpose was not function but in the appearance. Her new outfit is functional and not overly ornate. Since Iolani cares not for fashion a member of the crew chose the clothing for her.

Two new pages were added. Page 1:Detailed Chibi Pairs by Kimu. The idea here was to show the main 5 in their humanoid form and their dragon form side by side. The dragon form is not interacting with the humanoid form because they are the same character and should not exist side by side. However, I think that getting both forms in the same image is something that should be done from time to time.

Microorganism page is up. Art by Wolf-Rayet Law. I do not want to gush about the art here but you can see my reviews for the some of these on Vgen. If I did not like them I would not have gotten seven. These two are Fousafia and Tempest. All of them can be seen on the Microoganism page.

The sneak peak content has finally been added to the page. Currently the Stickers are sorted in a random order. Head on over to see the new ones individually.
