idk, what do you think i should do? honest question here, i want any and all answers

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

there's also the issue of sony being total fucking dickbags. i know that's very iffy but id rather have a yearly subscription and pay them once a year over pay them every time I'd wanna purchase a game if that makes sense.

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

i have plenty of games in my collection like subnautica that i got from ps+ but i cant play them unless i renew my subscription so there's that too, i dont wanna rebuy games that i already technically have.

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

i want some opinions here would it be worth it to get my ps+ subscription back solely to play the free games they give out? i have a ps5 and its just been collecting dust for years.

to elaborate on the a14, i got it 2023, but my moto g stylus broke this year so i had to resort to using it instead. i was using it primarily as a backup phone cuz i just dont like it. i figured this out because google photos has metadata that tells you this

my worst gaming purchases 1. getting a ps4 for no mans sky solely because i was like "surely this game cant be that bad!" it was. it got better over the years tho 2. getting ps+ solely for fall guys and nothing else. it went f2p a few months later i believe

My feelings are complicated, I'll talk more about my trauma and exactly how i feel about it eventually. its just difficult to wrap my head around that this is a thing that actually happened.

on the other, i still had good memories with the guy even if he was an asshole. I still respect his family. It stings seeing someone my age that I went to school with just up and die out of seemingly nowhere. that's really scary to me.

I will say, i do feel safer in my local community. I absolutely do. He never like, threatened me, but it was always a fear of mine that he'd get me. But i dont know if this is fucked up to say or not. I feel more free to talk about what he did to me.

back in 2016-2017 I was sexually and mentally abused by an ex best friend of mine a few days ago, i got notice that the guy died. You'd think I'd be celebrating, a guy who have me 10 years worth of trauma is dead, but im actually feeling very complicated about this whole thing.

For the record, i did also play the e-reader levels as well this playthrough! i played the game on nso, thats how i was able to play them, and ngl, they add a lot of value to the game. I've played them before, but it was nice to revisit them. theyre very underrated.

i think if the steam machine was released like 2 or 3 years ago it would've been an amazing alternative solely because it would've been priced much lower. many people just dont see it as worth it due to the price and really i dont blame them

110

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

we're ignoring price here because in this day and age, consoles are mad expensive. if you could afford a console, you probably could afford a decent enough pc. its just finding the space for it is the issue.

000

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

PC handhelds, i can see the argument here, but pc handhelds fill a different niche than laptops or desktops do. theyre targeting a slightly different audience, and its 50/50 on whether or not you'd actually like them or not.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

the counter arguments here of course are, laptops and pc handhelds laptops, you still need some sort of area to put them on. you still need an area for a mouse for intensive gaming. its hard to find or make that space at times. its more portable, sure, but its 50/50.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

for pc on the other hand? you need space for a desk, a monitor, the pc itself, keyboard, mouse, whatever else you need. you need a whole big setup just for this. many people aren't in a situation where they could comfortably fit all that in a single room.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

my main points are for a console, most people already have a tv set up somewhere. you just need space for the console itself which is easy enough to make.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

my hot take is i think in terms of physical space, consoles will always be more accessible than pc. 🧵

SUPER MARIO LAND 2: 6 GOLDEN COINS This game is definitely a step up from the first mario land, its still a bit jank but its overall a big improvement. they went a long way in a short time. this was my first time playing and i liked it a lot 7.5/10

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

realistically theres 2 big reasons why this probably wouldnt work at least not right now 1. the price of ram. to get ram into such a small form factor? expensive. also, the ram crisis 2. way too niche. itd have an audience but barely anyone would do this unless it was marketed heavily.

130

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

hear me out on this concept expandable ram for phones imagine another slot in the side of phones similar to a sim card slot but for small ram cards. you put some ram in, slot the tab in place, and your phone is faster now. companies wont do this because theyre cowards

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

but yeah, as for how I'm doing now? im doing good. my phones all fixed. im doing good mentally. im actually feeling like myself again, worry free. shit was rough but i got through

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

i think it was a double whammy of that flood scare plus just general uneasiness of my phone not working that did me in good. i didnt have a chance to process fucking anything before something else happened.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It wasnt just the phone stuff either i don't think. a day before this all happened, i was shaken up by the fact that my home almost flooded again due to a tornado level storm and i had to evacuate to a friends house. nothing ended up happening, I'm all good there, but still. that shook me up.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

i was filled with so SO much anxiety that the second day of this alone i was on the verge of crying. i had to use the amazon alexa to call my mom and she could tell just from the way i was talking something deeply was troubling me

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

but i had 2 main concerns for feeling the way i did 1. my google authenticator. if i were to accidentally log out of anything, thats it, I would've been locked out until the phone got fixed. 2. just general data backup. i wanted to back up anything i could.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Now. i understand what you might be thinking. "arent you being overdramatic over a phone?" the thing is i fully told myself this during this whole week, i knew how i felt was unreasonable, no sane person should feel this way over a fucking phone.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

its for that reason i wont say how much i spent but it was enough to have made me nearly vomit in a fucking walmart and thousand yard stare the entire time. my phone is cheap so the repair was relatively cheap i will say that, but it was still expensive, for someone like me.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

with all the social security stuff going on I've been talking about you might be wondering how i got my phone fixed. a friend of mine helped me pay for it. simple as that. they offered to give me money.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

i could still communicate with people, i wasnt cut off from discord or social media, i have my laptop, but the setup for my laptop i needed to do was so jank that i ultimately decided it wasnt worth it half the time other than to watch videos.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

genuinely, i could barely eat, i felt like complete shit, i didnt have the energy for anything. I could barely talk to people. all I did was mainly sleep all day and bedrot on my couch.

100

🏳️‍🌈Dragonogon🏳️‍⚧️🐲🍉 @dragonogon.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

i talked a bit about this on twitter but imma talk about it here, this past week was hellish for me for one very simple reason. my phone screen stopped working and i needed to get it fixed. that sent me into a big, big long spiral.

the cost of one is also just wild to me??? 600+ dollars if you're counting all the accessories and most people are just gonna use it to emulate and maybe watch youtube with. i dont understand the appeal.
