Another Sunday, another drawing session! Today I first did some cat sketches because I'm currently working on some ACEO for friends. The second hour was used for hamster practise again. I did some sketches to figure out body language of my hammies and filled three pages. Here's a dancing Dexter 🐹

Today's art session wasn't really working out for me but I managed to draw a little ACEO for @keksfrosch.bsky.social and also turned the little froggy into a sticker design. =3

During today's drawing session I was working on defining the characters for my hamster project. Defining their silhouettes was a good exercise and gave them clearer bodies. Had them in my head for so long but it's still another step to get them on paper =3 In the end I got a first lineup done! 🐹

I've taken a step back from many artistic things/events since last year to take care of my mental health. After almost 2 years I'm finally feeling hope and want to get active again. If you are interested, have a look at the long version here www.patreon.com/Mirri/posts/... or just enjoy the hammy!

@aschenfall.bsky.social , @keksfrosch.bsky.social and I had our first "Let's-practise-drawing-together-Sunday-morning" and here are some of my results. First hour was spent trying to finish something within a time limit and the second hour was working on stuff for my hamster project =3

Startet taking simple commissions after a long mental health break and I really missed drawing in general. This one's an artistic freedom portrait for Sekinar on Furaffinity. Love this handsome guy's colors~

Something from last year's #Eurofurence Art Show. It's a little collection of fruity froggies, done with ink and marker =3

I'm so overwhelmed by all the rattos situation that I'm considering to not even open commissions in March... I have reserves for this, but I feel insecure using them... So, would you help me with my Ko-fi? ko-fi.com/ratgroundpear Even sharing is very welcome!

My head is pretty busy lately, which makes it hard for me to find rest. Tonight I went thorugh some of my many, many works in progress and I kinda like to see what still resonates with me. So I'll try to post some wip-snippets to motivate myself. #wip

I'm still trying to find my style when it comes to drawing hamsters. Getting their facial proportions right is still a bit hit or miss. But here's a little hammy from yesterday, inspired by @keksfrosch.bsky.social 's elven character Vian. #hamster #animalart

I'm currently working on a sticker sheet with DnD themed rodent stickers. This is one of them, inspired by the famous mammoth mice! It's a wild, little druid mouse! :D Hope to be able to offter these at the RPV in May, where I'll be in the Artist Alley! #dnd #druid #mouse

Let's start the new year with some #vampirethemasquerade art. This is a portrait of a friend's character Tara. She's a good-hearted and very polite young lady from Japan, who now spends her nights with a bunch of weird vampires in London. #vtm #salubri

To wrap up 2024, here's a little summary of the things I did over the year. Due to my mental health, it wasn't a very creative year. Most of my art were commissions and Art Fight pictures. Drawing original characters and ideas is getting harder each year... Anyways, on to 2025!

Something else for a change. A sticker design, inspired by the song "Rats" by Ghost. I was very happy to get so much positive feedback for these at the last convention! 🐀

My next chatracter is Taro "Aki" Akai. I played him in a Shaodwrun campaign until recently but I'll keep playing him in another rp. He's a quiet man who's on the run from his family because they have rather opposing ideas of an ideal life.

Mirri @dragonmirri.bsky.social · 21/10/2024

Let me introduce my next pen&paper character: Halren Leiffsen He's from a "world of darkness" one-shot, which he didn't survive 🥲 I still decided to keep him and kept building his story, imagining he survived the gunshot to the head. He's a quiet and withdrawn guy who enjoys being out in the wild.

Since I'd like to use this account to post art of my pen & paper characters, let me introduce them: First there's Thamir, a tiefling sorcerer and I started playing him in summer 2021. He likes burning things and has a weird talent to get himself into trouble while trying to stay out if it.
