PSA for today in particular: the singular form of “aurochs” is “aurochs,” not “auroch.” (Related to the word “ox”). I made this mistake when writing my books till it was caught by beta readers. But today the floodgates of the typo were unleashed by someone, and the future might never recover.

Would you say, “I separate the art from the artist”? Would you say, “It’s OK, I didn’t buy the book, I got it for free”? eBay's new Vero portal has somehow gotten more tedious. I submitted complaints on a dozen listings 3 times and had to respond to multiple emails to figure out what they're looking for. The infringement here was use of the KA symbol in jewelry, decals, and tshirts. 1/3

Report summary for a page full of infringing items that were removed by eBay. The list is made of several columns: a small picture of the product on left, Item ID, Title, Actions, and Status.

Book banners are creating scam tools to continue the grift. According to their tool the completely made up "Banned Book Club 3: Hyun Sook Does a Hanky Panky" is more suitable for children than the actual childrens books that I write (and they make up excerpts from)

I just looked up my own books in this. "There are multiple scenes depicting explicit sexual acts including nudity, and sexual encounters described or visually illustrated in detail." "frequent use of profanity such as "f--k," "s--t," and other strong curse words." Completely made up nonsense.

Bsky is apparently gonna start flagging whole accounts as nsfw soon so if you don't already know about your moderation settings, highly suggest switching nsfw from Hide to Warn; otherwise many creators will completely vanish from your timeline when they roll this out.

Not that it isn't for me, but the fact that I can't write an honest review for it without affecting the story in the "Algorithm". No matter how much I celebrate the well written characters, my personal review score would be low and that's all the website would see. All most people would see.
