I feel rewarded by dedicating myself to talking to every NPC every time they have new dialog in Trails in the Sky. Not only does it adds texture to the world, but sets up story events that unfold in the main plot. Sometimes in ways I don't expect. This is a living, changing world and I love it.

to be technically correct, it’s not that they CAN’T play, they could choose to buy the game and a Switch 2 if they really wanted to, it’s just that they are either blissfully unaware, or just choose not to (gasp). so the real headline is that consumers vote with their wallets lol

Update: Finished the game. Absolutely blew my mind with that ending twist. The themes of this game are VERY heavy though. There were some emotional moments that actually got to me.. but it has a good message at the end. can’t wait to continue with this series.

Been playing Danganronpa 1 for the first time. With 2x2 coming early next year, I figure it was time I finally got into this series. Been absolutely enjoying it so far. It hits all the right notes for me as a Zero Escape fan. No wonder the creators of both series ended up working together.

Windswept is incredible. It has DKC2’s mechanics to an absolute tee, while having engaging mechanics of its own, and the precision and momentum and almost PICO8 aesthetics of Celeste. I’ve been absolutely loving this game so far. Huge kudos to the guy who created it.

This being said, it feels like a Prime game in the style of the first game would be hard to market if there’s mainly going to be subtle story telling through its environment. so we just end up with a lot of trailers where the majority of it consists of sweeping action shots.
