It's the local hospital, not the good UVA I went to in Charlottesville. She just seemed completely unsympathetic. "Come in right now, or else." I can't. I'm far too sick. Like, what do they want me to do.

I wanna be happy, but I'm hitting a depression phase of this sickness because I can't do anything. I can't draw, can't do FA dev, I can barely play games because of these constant fevers and brain fog. It's just exhausting.

This is what PTSD is like for a lot of people, too. A lot of triggers anxiety attacks, and they can be so overwhelming even a calm and rational person can still be hit by them. They're all extremely different.

Yeah. I used to get them back when I was in a college, and they were so bad it'd trigger fight or flight, and I've had it trigger flight in the middle of class. It's not really a matter of being analytical, but it's like a violent wave of emotions and anxiety just sucker punched you.

They can be both. Panic attacks are a flood of anxiety, and everybody handles that differently, and each attack can be entirely different levels from "meh" to "everything is awful!" to "holy fuck, holy shit, the world is ending."

I had a costco membership once, and it was the best mistake I ever made. their baked good section alone. you need three months worth of muffins for $20? they've gotcha covered. Ended up with so many coffee cakes at one point I couldn't eat them again for years. worth it.

Nope. They don't know what it is so can't provide treatment. Honestly though, Dayquil and Tylenol help immensely. It's really these megafevers which are destroying me, so if I can keep the fevers down, I can almost function.

Well, they took samples from my lungs and are trying to grow them in a lab to determine which infection I have, and they said that takes 5-7 business days.

Sorry! I had my biopsy, they removed samples from my lungs, I'm currently recovering. I'm still really sick, but we're at the final stage where diagnosis is almost there... and we cant start treatment.

Problem is they need my previous year's tax return, and I'm on a tax extension, and didn't get filed in time because I got crippling sickness. So I can't apply right away (doing taxes this weekend), but it adds a wrench to the equation.
