Watching people gush about and praise the second episode of that Glitch cartoon while remembering what happened with it last year really does feel like

Screenshot of Rusted Moss, showing Fern and puck at the top of a mountain, with a giant tree with golden leaves in the background. In front of them is a feminine character in a white dress with golden/orange hair, looking away from them.

Rusted Moss finished (all endings, but not 100% which I *will* do). like a 9/10, I recommend it to genuinely anyone who likes difficult platformers (as in, where the platforming's hard) and nonlinear metroidvanias but also to anyone who likes having good, nuanced stories in those kinds of games

Selene of the Wrapped Agony ΘΔ 🎶 @dragondoggirl.northsky.social · 27/09/2026

Sidenote I do love this game's writing. It's a little unfocused because the game is very nonlinear so you can encounter anything at almost any time but I think it's still close to the level of something like Iconoclasts. Very very good

Merri: "If you starve a dog and put it in a cage, and it bites you, would you call the dog evil?"

Merri: "If you don't judge a caged dog, you shouldn't judge a human."

Merri: "I don't know why you'd classify the 'natural' state of something to be when it's placed in extreme conditions."

Merri: "You should be kinder to humans... and yourself. Everybody has the capacity to be better."

*nods disappointedly but understandingly* a Celeste situation it is then

You know I do love me some subtle storytelling where the human-looking protagonist who has decided to fight against humanity is said to have "never been on our side" by a human and called a changeling by a fae and then if you go back to the start you find a computer with a note that says this

The new experiments were a success!
Machines can be controlled by a bound changeling.
This should work for fae in general.
The iron is unpleasant for them, but their magic heals them by reflex.
A constant source of energy!
The older way was much more inefficient. I can't wait to tell Nell.

Nth time wishing Limbus Company wasn't a gacha game because like just LOOK at these fucking character designs

The Crimson God from Limbus Company, a bony humanoid figure that seems to be made out of blood and muscle tissue with two tiny arms holding what looks like a cape from its shoulders, a halo over its head, and a whip held in one hand made out of its own insides.

L'Inamovible from Lijbus Company, a mutated woman seemingly made out of muscle tissue and bone, with a horned head, a fleshy dress and a snake tail held to the ground by nails.

Yeah I've tried a third time and I can't play this anymore. But I'm at least glad I tried a third time because I found this incredibly sweet scene at what seems like Aria's secret spot

It's got a decent balance of humor and horror so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how more fucked up it gets. Also fucking love this attitude "This can't be hell because I don't deserve to be there" I'm gonna adopt that motto for life

Screenshot of the Iron Bramble demo. A character called "Orelia, a Sceptic" is speaking and saying: "I can understand why a self-proclaimed 'prophet' might swallow the lies told to us. But this can't be Hell because I wouldn't deserve to be in here."

Talking about a game that isn't Metroid for a moment. I completely forgot this fucking thing was here when I went into a mission for money and I SOMEHOW managed to pull through and kill it. Realizing that the crystals were killing it faster than me and I just had to outlast it was such a cool moment

And of course she's one out of two bosses so far who bothers to try to talk X down, and has the best characterization out of all of them. I love you Skyblade Squirrel I'll never forget you...

She's saying: "For generations, we have been forced to fight for our right to exist. I will not allow that future to continue."

Continuation of the previous screenshot, with Skyblade Squirrel saying "I admire that conviction, X. But hope alone cannot protect our kind."

HYPERGRYPH MAKE HER PLAYABLE AND I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU

Screenshot of Arknights, showing two characters, the most important one being a full-on furry wolf woman with long black and pink hair i a ponytail, sunglasses and a spiked collar, dressed in black pants, a leather jacket with what seem to be metallic gauntlets, over a white shirt and an orange undershirt that shows her cleavage and part of her stomach. She also has a tuft of white fur right above her chest, and she's smirking.
The text says:
Lupina: "Let me see-Everything seems to be in order. You're always on top of things."

This might be some of my favorite designs that I've seen in months ngl

An image of a white sheep woman in a white dress, standing in front of a foggy white background. Her dress is stained with blood from her neck to her chest with a trail going down to the bottom, and her arms have been severed from the shoulders and seem to be floating barely separated from her body. She also has feathered angel-like wings and a halo.

This has been finished now (or at least a first chapter of it). I have no idea when it'll go up because it ended up with 8000 fucking words, but it will. In the meantime have a bit from it I thought was funny

I find it funny, how fast I turned around. I really am falling in love with my stalker. Not that I'm ever telling anybody that part.

... I may need to have my computer checked for malware, though.
