Its 1000% the former. I took one look at GNB back when I got into FFXIV and knew I had to play it. Ive tried other jobs but haven’t strayed from GNB since. Also since I played through the Bozja questline, GNB’s lore is very intertwined with my WoL’s backstory.

Eh why not. I dont have too many custom made ones but Im fairly proud of the group pic I made with my ocs. Took me a few hours. The others are more simple in nature, just involving an emote or skill freeze framed.

Kiyoshi? Probably a bit of Noctis in there. Both are nonchalant dudes that are constantly stoic, but have hearts of gold and a sense of heroism. #WoLqotd

Deadass. Its nuts just how attached people are to this game. If Square actually Thanos snapped all mods in existence tomorrow, I wouldn’t stop playing. The reason I step back into Eorzea each day is cuz of this glorious gunblade I spent months grinding for, so I can raise hell with it.

That would be Seraphina, his girlfriend. I based Seraphina off of my own girlfriend irl (I even showed her ffxiv races and she said she’d be a Lalafell) whom is always there for me when im feeling off and vice versa.

Becoming a Gunbreaker. Before he did, he felt he was a failure at life since he wanted to be an adventurer from a young age. He struggled to become a Conjurer since he can only manipulate water magic. Meeting Radovan turned his life around and made him the thing he always wanted to be: A Hero.

Im very happy with the DT changes. It led to me Fantasia’ing back to my og race, Au Ra. I switch to Hyur around mid Shadowbringers, but returned late Dawntrail after getting a good look at Au Ra’s better scale textures!

Kiyoshi after I first fantasia’d into a Hyur, mid Shadowbringers.

Kiyoshi post Dawntrail after I returned to Au Ra, nearly 2 years later!

#OCPokemonCollab Been seeing this everywhere so I thought id throw in my own art of my trainer and his team. Ive only drawn Eevee myself (as I consider Eevee to be my partner) so I filled in the rest with their Dream Art. Not gonna be as impressive as the others Ive seen 😂

Part 2. The Ryu. The Ryu are humanoid-aquatic based dragons which are direct descendants of Ryujin, the dragon god that created Oceanus. They have translucent horns made of flowing water, blue semi-translucent hair made of flowing water, and long tails with watery fins at the ends. Art by me!

Liquidius is built in layers, with a castle and training academy known as Watatsumi at the top, with a more modern city as you go down. The Ryu mostly live in the upper reaches of Liquidius. I took inspiration from Neo: The World Ends With You, DC’s Aquaman to build it up.

Kiyoshi would spend the whole episode trying to get this huge romantic candlelit dinner date ready for his spouse Iridessa, only to be surprised that all she wanted was to simply spend the day with him, because she loves him no matter what and—>

Aquatic Japanese mythology. As I said before I may start posting my art and notes here so anyone interested in my story can give their thoughts. The new working title going forward is “Umi No Ryu,” which means “Dragon of the Sea” in Japanese! According to google translate at least lol

Kiyoshi is a weird mix between charismatically goofy and stoic. Around people he’s close to and cares about, he’s this big loving goofball, but around people he doesn’t know (especially those high in power) he’s stoic, respectful and very quiet. This stoic nature is carried over when he fights too.

The Blade’s Resolve. With Gunbreaker being my favorite job and my oc’s canon job, it means alot to me. From long grind it took to get it, to Kiyoshi’s journey and backstory being connected to Gunbreaker- hell he’s half Bozjan and is a direct descendant of the original Gunnhildr’s Blades.

Nope. While Kiyoshi was born in Gridania, his parents are from the Far East (Doma and Bozja specifically) so he was raised wearing a mixture of both. He’d eventually start wearing the casual set for a good while, but upon meeting Radovan it was strictly all kinds of Bozjan attire from ages 17-21.

Kiyoshi and I are a bit similar in personality, however he’s definitely more stoic and hardworking than me. Also since he’s faced all manner of monster and machine, practically nothing scares him, which allows him to be ready for nearly any situation. Plus he’s very strong and can fight. I cant. 😂

Kiyoshi’s canonically a Hyur, but I did start ffxiv as a Au Ra and try out Lalfell for a few months. To answer the question, his appearance remains true regardless of race.

Final Fantasy XIV. Sure theres danger at every turn and the world nearly ends every other week, but I can become a badass adventurer and help prevent such crises from occurring. Also GUNBLADES.
