Did you hear some familiar voices in #DragonAge The Veilguard? 🤔 Makal Damas is voiced by Simon Templeman, the same actor behind Loghain, while the First Warden and Hawke are both voiced by Nicholas Boulton. A small piece of Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 in Veilguard ❤️

#DragonAge fans, what are your favorite video games outside of the series? 🤔 For me, apart from #BaldursGate3, the best in storytelling, characters and immersion are: 🐎 #RedDeadRedemption2 🏍 #Cyberpunk 2077 🐺 The #Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Who are your most beloved companions in the #DragonAge series? What about your most disliked? 🤔 My favorites will always be Solas, Alistair, Morrigan and Varric 🥰 I can't say I hated any of them, but Anders and Sera really annoyed me 😆

After playing #DragonAgeTheVeilguard only one year later, the similarities of the final battle were astounding to me 👀 • The final battle ground in the sky (Palace / Brain) • Blighted Elgar'nan / Tadpoled Dark Urge on the throne

If there's one video game I would recommend to #DragonAge fans, it would be #BaldursGate3 ❤️ When I first played it, I couldn't help but notice the similarities between the party camps ⛺Another aspect I found familiar was Gortash's coronation, similar to the famous Landsmeet 🏰

Today is dedicated to what I consider to be the greatest love story in #DragonAge ❤️ Solavellan The ending bringing Solas and Ellana Lavellan back together was one of my favorite parts of #Veilguard, and it was worth the very long wait 💚

What is your canon for #DragonAgeTheVeilguard ? 🤔 Mine involves Shadow Dragon Irene Mercar 🐲 who saved Minrathous and romanced Lucanis 🐦‍⬛ Her best friends are Neve and Davrin. At the end, she helped the Inquisitor and Solas leave together for the Fade 💕

Happy Valentine's Day! 💞 What is your favorite romance in the entire #DragonAge series? Mine is Alistair 🥰 It was my first fully fledged romance in a video game and it stands strong up to this day ❤️

I agree, it does transform them from grey human villains into black and white monsters (same as the villains in Veilguard)

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

Did you get the secret ending in #DragonAgeTheVeilguard ? What did you think of it? 🤔 I think it was a small gate to a possible sequel. Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever witness the fate of our beloved characters from the first 3 games and there won't be a Dragon Age 5 any time soon 💔

If you could romance a non-romanceable character from #DragonAgeTheVeilguard, who would it be? 😉 For me, it would be either one of the Antivan Crows (Illario or Viago), The Viper or The Butcher 😏

1162

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 10/02/2025

What did you think of his portrayal in Veilguard? 🤔 I like the overall idea, but I think the execution could have been done better. I can't imagine Neve or Harding never mentioning Varric to Rook.

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 10/02/2025

In #DragonAgeTheVeilguard we said goodbye to probably the most popular character in the entire series: Varric Tethras 💔 I thought he died in the opening scene and was relieved to find out he survived. However, as the story progressed, I sensed something was off and even suspected the truth 😢

If you've wondered what the point was with the room of fallen soldiers - if you lose companions, their bodies will be there, identified by their weapons placed on top 💔I have to say I like it a lot, it's very poetic.

Have you seen the #DragonAgeTheVeilguard bad ending? After saving Treviso with my Antivan Crow Rook, I did an apocalyptic speedrun. I only built reputation with my own faction and I only helped Lucanis achieve hero status. I also sent the wrong companions on missions 🧵👇

So, for anyone who, like me, wishes to save Minrathous and romance Lucanis, there is now a mod for PC that can make your dreams come true by restoring those hidden files 💞 👇

Did you know that romancing Lucanis was originally possible when choosing to save Minrathous? This option was hidden in the final game 😡 There are game files with special dialogue to romance him in this particular situation. 🧵👇

For those of you who could choose, who is your preferred Archon? 🤔 It seems Mae is the more peaceful option, but I supported Dorian because I will follow that man into hell if needed 😆 Who did you choose? #dragonage #dragonageveilguard #dragonagetheveilguard

The greatest choice in #DragonAgeTheVeilguard comes at the end of the game: deciding how to deal with Solas 🧝 Being a Solavellan fan, I of course went for the option where he is reunited with the Inquisitor and they are bound to the Veil together 💕 How did you deal with Solas?

010

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 05/02/2025

15 years later, we finally learnt the truth about Flemeth and Mythal and got to meet a fragment of the goddess in person 🧝‍♀️ Being a fan of the entire #DragonAge series, this questline was one of my favorites in Veilguard ❤️ How did you obtain Mythal's essence?

130

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Fun fact: if you don't complete Taash's quest, the Dragon King will be leading the enemy forces at the end instead of a random Qunari 🐲 During my second playthrough, I sent Taash here to face their nemesis, but despite having maximum faction strength, they were killed 😢 Who did you send here?

000

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

After defeating her nemesis, we have the choice to encourage Neve to become an inspiration 🌟 to the people or keep working in the shadows 👤 I chose the shadows, the Threads needed a new leader and I wanted to have someone I could trust there, given their shady past. What did you choose for Neve?

The last decision in The Last Gambit was choosing who to send to deal with the massive construct 🗿 Fun fact: If you don't complete Emmrich's quest, instead of the Juggernaut you will face Johanna's Bone Golem 💀 Who did you send on this mission? #dragonageveilguard

Harding's quest was the most interesting to me. Finding out the truth about the Titans' demise, she is facing an existential crisis 🫨 I nudged her towards compassion instead of anger, I see no point in nurturing fury for things that happened thousands of years ago 😌 What did you choose for her?

Over on twt people are celebrating DA being ‘officially’ ours now by canonizing their head canons. So what canon in your thedas today, friends? I think Sten had a huge crush on the warden 😤

I chose Lucanis to deal with the Venatori, the role fit the mage-killer perfectly 🥷 If you don't complete Neve's personal quest, Aelia will be here instead of a random Venatori. I found this cool as it gives a bit more personality to the villains. Who did you send on this mission? #dragonage

These are just the parts I found most interesting from the artbook, which has more than 200 pages. I wonder who saw all these ideas and went nah, let's scrap them. I guess we'll never know. #DragonAge

• Solas was supposed to summon a Titan in the final battle • We were supposed to get a happy ending with our love interests • Our base was supposed to be a submarine • We would have a war table room, similar to Inquisition #DragonAgeVeilguard 🧵👇

121

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

• The dwarves were supposed to be fleeing the underground by the thousands - cause unknown • We were supposed to go to Par Vollen • Companions could betray us • Another idea was for Solas to interrupt our mission, wiping half of our team off #DragonAgeTheVeilguard 🧵👇

130

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

• Solas was supposed to return like a regal figure out of the distant past • The game was focused more on espionage - we were supposed to go on secret missions, like infiltrating the Archon's throne room • Another idea was for us to ride adult griffons, hunting dragons #DragonAgeTheVeilguard 🧵👇

130

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

• We were supposed to receive assignments from the Inquisitor • Another idea was for us to return to the Fade and rescue whoever was left behind in Inquisition • Elves from all over Thedas were supposed to answer Solas' call • Solas' appearance was supposed to be a surprise #DragonAgeVeilguard 🧵👇

140

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

• Morrigan, Dorian and Isabela were supposed to be our advisors • They also had better outfits • Sten, Cole and Shale were some other characters featured in the artbook • The Divine was supposed to make an appearance, sending out ships to hunt Solas #DragonAge 🧵👇

Very saddened to hear the news about #BioWare. As much as I was disappointed with #DragonAgeVeilguard, it was a fun game and I didn't wish for the series to end. I want to share the initial ideas and concepts of the game. Here's what #Veilguard could have and should have been🧵👇

Bellara had one of the most emotional personal quests 😢 After her brother was killed, the matter of The Archive remained. Being an elf and still hoping to restore our great past (yes I am a Solas supporter 😆), I encouraged her to keep The Archive. What did you choose for Bellara? #dragonage

020

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

Who did you send with the Veil Jumpers? I ended up sending Davrin since I think he can do a good job protecting others, and so he did. Strife survived, but I was confused how that happened because in my case he took a sword through his guts that should have been fatal 😵‍💫 #dragonagetheveilguard

020

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 27/01/2025

Emmrich had the biggest existential crisis in his personal quest ☠️ I opted to keep him human and mortal, but I find the Lich route quite interesting as it's possibly the only morally grey choice for a companion in the game 😏 What did you choose for Emmrich? #dragonagetheveilguard #dragonage

020

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 26/01/2025

Who did you choose to dismantle the blood magic wards on Tearstone Island? ✨ I chose Bellara as I thought she would be more appropriate, given all the elven stuff going on. I'm glad I did as she looked incredibly badass during the final mission 😍 #dragonagetheveilguard #dragonage

Taash's personal quest ended with Rook choosing the Qunari heritage or Rivaini culture for them. Choosing a binary option for them felt odd, but I picked the Qunari one because I thought #Taash could make a real difference for the better there 🙌 What option did you choose?

Dragon Age Cinema @dragonagecinema.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

This was probably the most controversial and heartbreaking decision of #DragonAgeTheVeilguard 💔 At Tearstone Island, I chose Harding to lead the distraction team, because I thought the role would suit her better and because I wanted Davrin by my side. Who died in your playthrough? 😢
