this will be funny to like 3 people but I’m one of them and that’s all that matters

The poster for The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, but it’s been edited to include And Knuckles at the end of the title, and Knuckles has been edited into the photo of the cast

From where I'm currently sitting with it, I'd say you probably had a better time of it for not having seen the series first. Your definitely weren't missing any information or not getting references. I'd recommend the series on its own merits in any event.

In preparation for the NEW Street Fighter movie later this month, we sat down and watched Street Fighter The Movie with @mrdo.pro on Gamers Go to the Movies! youtu.be/Y4Icl3WY0t0

I just watched it myself and... you're not wrong, but it's also like that they went to over explain it and then...under explained it? I am surprised how undercooked and overdone this feels compared to the youtube series.

Fuck! That's so tragically valid.

I swear I was reminded of this show just a few minutes ago, because I was looking up what else came out the same season as Healer Girl, a show I am obnoxious about recommending to people.

I mark the passage of time not by the years but by the changes in the localization of gyaru dialogue anime and manga.

Jesus Christ. You know, I was thinking about how we often have a habit of going right for the nitpicks about games we actually really like, and how that might not communicate fully to an audience without being spelled out, but...what the fuck? Try again, dude.

Listen. I have a complex relationship with Chivalry of a Failed Knight because of Hulu and their garbage algorithm. But this was mostly a facetious bit till I remembered that 100 Girlfriends had a mini-tournament arc or two and also Chivalry existed. Mostly no. That's why I want more of it.

I sorta did that during the Ruin Someone's Childhood Kiwami. ...but I do you think there's value in a whole Echo episode.

Reaffirmed to an old friend the other day that the correct answer to the question "if you could live in any anime universe what would it be?" is Clannad. Tell me I'm wrong. You can't. Cause I'm not.

You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

Completely divorced from the topic of whether remaking animes should be a thing: We should totally do Fushigi Yugi next. That was a canon pillar show that I feel like has mostly dropped out of consciousness today.
