I've been reading this popular history book which is quite entertaining but there have been multiple times I have been like "wtf I am pretty sure that is not true". And yeah as a Lutheran I am quite confident Luther did not think God "existed only in the Bible" lmao

My mom gave me this book about the history of Jerusalem. I finished the section on the Romans--- so much marrying and murder of relatives and sex with young boys. Thought the Muslims would be better
