Update: For my health, I’ll be moving in with a different friend. I’ll still be in the same state, just far from where I presently am. They’ll be able to help me out more and I can help them with some things as well. I don’t like the idea of having to leave my current roommate but we’ve talked about it and it’s one of those things of “it sucks but it’s what’s best” sort of things. Lots of mixed feelings about this. I’m a big help others before helping myself kind of person but I think I’ve reached a point where I can’t help anyone anymore until I get some help myself. Things are hard. We both still need money. The move is October 9th-10th. I’ll be setting up a new post that includes a link for myself and for my current roommate for donations as soon as moving is taken care of. Until then, any money I receive I will be sharing with them and using for moving expenses. Was trying really hard to make things work out but I don’t reasonably believe I’ll be able to keep it up

Foodstamps finally un-fucked them and even paid them back everything they hadn’t received in foodstamps during all this time so that’s awesome. Money in general is still an issue until they find a job, however!!
