I keep thinking about a redraw of the album cover for industry baby but with silver eve era Hiehart... hmmm...

album cover for 'industry baby' by lil nas x. lil nas x stands in front of an angelic background of clouds, butterflies, and chromatic pillars. he's visible from the torso up, and he's naked aside from loose chains that spool around his body from a collar like 360° wings. as chains break off, they're replaced by butterflies.

screenshot of a panel featuring Tanaka from The Summer Hikaru Died. Tanaka is bleached blond, crusty, and scarred on his face and neck. In the screenshot, Tanaka's facing the audience at a 3/4 angle and looks disgusted and shocked. The tint on his sunglasses reveals his eyes, which have seldom been shown in the story.

screenshot of S: Cascade, a flash video from Homestuck. Dave Strider, a blond, sunglasses-wearing protagonist, faces the audience at a 3/4 angle with fear and concern. His red eyes are visible beneath his aviator sunglasses.

redraw of a panel from The Summer Hikaru Died chapter 47.2. Yoshiki, surrounded by the true form of 'Hikaru,' affirms that he loves 'Hikaru,' too, more than anything else. In the top right corner Tanaka is seen cheering and screaming "Hell Yeah!!! Ha ha ha ha ha!!"

TSHD spoilers hhhhthekshshsajak. The difference in how yoshiki looks at hikaru early TSHD versus in 41.2 makes my stomach leap a thousand miles an hour

screencap of the summer hikaru died. yoshiki looks at Hikaru. hikaru's gaze is on the top half of the panel. yoshiki looks back on the bottom half with bang-covered, embarrassed, shy eyes.

a screencap of TSHD chapter 41.2. yoshiki looks at Hikaru with want, joy, and care. he's crying tears of joy (overwhelm?) at being reunited with hikaru
