This place had once been a fortified outpost for the Shadow King. Long since burnt down, and half reclaimed by the forest. All that now remains is a torn and stained banner.

At the northern edge of Sarkash, where the trees meet the endless sea grows the banshee tree. The noise of the wind through it's mangled branches corrupting all who hear it.
Test both PRE & TOU DR12. If you fail both you try to throw yourself off the cliff.

#MÖRKTOBER Day 7 - Effigy

At the back of the cave, the torchlight barely illuminates the carving of an egg, with a grotesque creature emerging from it. The twisted visage was clearly a goblin. Perhaps the 1st goblin, that brought their curse to the dying lands.

A thick fog rolled in out of nowhere. In the white gloom you can't even see your hand in front of your face, and have lost all sense of direction.
Test presence DR12, or get lost and head in the wrong direction.
CRIT - You D2 or your party, and steer them in the right direction.
FUMBLE - You walk into something sharp, and take D4 damage.

##MÖRKTOBER Day 5 - Cape

The rocky cape reached out into the endless sea at the very northern edge of Sarkash. Joined to the mainland by a narrow land bridge. Surrounded on all other sides by crashing waves.
Wind blasted from all directions, even the twisted trees Sarkash can't grow there.
The ancient ruins, abandoned millennia ago by the previous occupants, have recently been occupied by members of a goblin cannibal cult.

##MÖRKTOBER Day 4 - Marrow

The old man roasted 7 different bones from 7 different goblins over the coals of 7 different fires for 7 days. Once done he split each one, and made a paste of them.
When the paste is applied, if you encounter any goblins there is a 1 in 3 chance they believe you are one of them, and don't attack.

The ancient stone in the centre of the clearing is covered in strange glyphs. They silently whisper to you "Give me one of your own, and delay the inevitable."
Sacrifice one of your party, and next time you roll a misery you may re-roll to avoid. However if you roll another one, 2 miseries happen.

You stole the necklace from your friend. But he was dead of a mysterious affliction anyway, and he'd stolen it from an old man deep in Sarkash.
The next day you find a small rash, just like your friend when he first got sick.
Maybe if you return the necklace you'll survive. Atleast until the world ends, or something else kills you.

In the muddy field stands a goat. Emaciated, and foul tempered. It charges anyone who comes within 30ft, including the farmer who 'owns' it.
