As a huge Silent Hill fan, I was so impressed by the Silent Hill 2 film adaptation. In some ways I think it surpasses the video game. The explanation for Mary’s sickness and her family’s backstory were so compelling and it made me feel like the original lacked solid direction for its storytelling
