My replacement was only done a few weeks ago and the plan was definitely to only replace one PW2 with a PW3. I’m happy with getting two brand new batteries and two new warranties. That was more than I expected. I’m sorry your experience hasn’t been as positive.

I had a 9.5 year old and a 3.5 year old Powerwall 2. The former had degraded about 7%. The latter was still at 100% but was part of a recalled batch. On the day of replacement, Tesla gave me two, brand new PW3 batteries and confirmed that both come with a 10 year warranty from date of install.

This project began under an initiative sponsored by the UK Embassy in Korea which resulted in the group’s first book, published in Korean. This second book, written in English, draws on perspectives observed during their visit to Melbourne earlier this year.

I’ve had the privilege of getting to know this group and they’re all amazing. I strongly recommend this book for its insights into leadership and career development. The book is especially relevant to people who work in Korea or with colleagues in Korea.

One of the projects supported by the Australia-Korea Foundation in 2025 is now in print. “Be the key” is a collection of deeply personal essays from ten Korean women, each sharing their journeys of navigating careers, culture, identity and the unspoken barriers that shape women’s lives in Korea.

A small but significant detail in our @amberelectric.bsky.social electricity bill for July. In the coldest month of the year we only took 11kWh from the grid during peak times (3pm-9pm). We were either self-powered, from the batteries, or exporting back into the grid for 99.5% of peak hours.
A screenshot of an electricity bill from Amber Electric showing that only 11 kWh was withdrawn from the grid during peak hours for the month of July.

It’s a song that wasn’t even single when initially released. It was long rumored that a “10 minute version” existed. When that was finally released, “from the vault”, it became the longest song ever to top the US charts.
