I get there was a lot to unpack in the texts and there are much more important details, but I want to know why we have a team at a golf club in Florida making war plans to thank.

Transgenic and transgender don’t mean the same thing. Not even a little.

There is a lot going on in the world. I hope to share with you little things that make me smile. Our students have missed out on a lot being thrown into a digital world. Little skills are lost, things you may not realize… like how to use a paperclip. They were so creative to make it work!

A paperclip that is clipped upside down, rounded side up on a piece of paper.

A paper clip on a stack of papers, only clipped with one side (arm?) of the clip.

Paper clip on a paper sticking up that is hooked on a paper. Hand is covering the name for privacy.

If vouchers “school choice” passes in Texas, Private Schools should be held to the same accountability standards that private schools do in order to accept the funds. Hold them to the same teacher certification, attendance policies, and state assessment policies if they accept any state funds.

New 3rd Grade STAAR Question

The state gives $6,160 for each public school student's education and $10,000 for each private school student's education.
How much more money does a private school student get than a public school student?
A) $3,840
B) $4,000
C) $10,000
D) None - because Abbott believes it doesn't matter, since private school kids deserve more money under SB2 and don't have to answer STAAR questions anyway.

I needed this perspective today. Was very thankful to come across it after I was told I was delusional, nothing insidious or nefarious was going on. Sharing in case anyone else needed to read it as well.

Well dang, same pump, same station. I thought gas was supposed to be cheaper today? I was looking forward to cheap gas and eggs. Guessing I’ll be disappointed at the grocery store too.

May we honor leaders with morals and values. Respect is earned, not granted.

I feel like I need to go buy a journal to start writing down things that happen over the next 4 years. I kept a Covid log, and was very thankful I did. I think my first entry will start at 8:36pm last night when my TikTok stopped scrolling.

I used to love reading dystopian fiction in high school. Reaaaaally not enjoying living through dystopian reality as an adult.

I’ve really been better about this last year and it has kept me in touch with friends and family from afar in meaningful ways. Let people know you love them and you think of them, you never know what that may mean to them.
