I'm using @kicad.org new multi channel functionality *extensively* with a keyboard design. Only a few hiccups, but it's handling 100 copies like a champ. Modifications are no longer a problem!

I have a Nyborg-12 + Nyborg-24 analogue synthesizer on my desk today. Owner reports that no sound is produced, even if the unit seems to power on. I've found this already a few times with old synthesizers. They need AC to work! The one provided by the owner is not correct. #synthrepair

Fixing an Event Opal studio monitor these days. Really intricated, it needs almost 30 minutes to get to the amplifier components! It was blowing fuses, so I removed the transistors and then found "that". Probably a remain from a previous repair attempt. It sounds beautifully now!

I received my MSXBook/OneChipBook today. Amazing little machine! It has a great display, regular cartridge slot, backlit mechanical keyboard, internal battery good for 3-4 hours... All for 200 euro. Great job! 8086cpu.com/list_29/104....

I found these three CRT monitors in the flea market. I *had* to save them. Only one of them was working, but I was able to recover them just by reseating the internal connectors. I'll try to convert them to RGB!

After a few adjustments, the Kraken cartridge for the #MSX is working! Super interesting device. It has audio *input*, so you can route the MSX sounds to the monitor where the video is showing.

I'm soldering the V9990 Video Display Processor IC to the Kraken #MSX cartridge from @MSXcalamar and @mfides I manually dispensed a little bit of solder paste on each pad and used the hot air station for the reflow. It's relatively easy and gives excellent results.

I have the components for the final assembly of MSX Calamar's Kraken cartridge. A V9990 Video Display Processor unit from Yamaha that upgrades the MSX video capabilities to incredible new heights.

Found on the curb. It had a few broken parts and was extremely dirty everywhere, but I was able to fix it. This thing is 22 years old, but the quality is amazing. I found old paper stock for a few euros. Photo printing at home!

I converted this beautiful Yamaha #MSX to MSX2. It wasn't too difficult because this model has the V9938 VDP from factory. I only needed to add more VRAM, make a special ROM for the Spanish keyboard and no RTC chip, and undo a couple of cut traces on the PCB.

Found this awesome set in my city's flea market. Yamaha C5XMII/128 #MSX with MSX2 video chip, 128 KB of RAM, YM2164 FM generator and YRM-501 music composer software. The Sony disk drive is a nice extra. This was released in 1985!
