Richards has started the season poorly. No two ways about it. But he’s had a lot of change around him. No Munoz, Geuhi or Lacroix all within two windows. I think he has enough credit in the bank and has earned the right to be given the opportunity to play himself into form again.

Overall, I think it’s a good window, not a great one. Our starting 11 is perhaps a bit weaker than the one that ended last season but there appears greater depth in the squad.

I agree with Dave. I also don’t really care if it’s a “good fee” for Sarr. It wouldn’t be enough to replace him at this point which would mean our chances of relegation and a £150 million gap in our finances goes up significantly
