I love these chezi, and now the bubble bobble theme is stuck in my head again.

I was on about the 0.5% of people being affected by the 100 hour cap

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 20/02/2025

I'd like to see it as a percentage of active streamers rather than all users/streamers

That much floof on a what is basically a weird form laptop just screams at me that it's gonna over heat

Take the hint Huds, less crash bash will save you from another year of this

The four way Super mario bros with supersonic is worth a watch if not for the skills, the tech that has all four runners on the same "screen"

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 06/01/2025

This is a simple wish that whomever made the s1sms retroachievement set has to beat awesome possum a few hundred times for that low score one. Under 20k in a sonic game... so much waiting around...

You need to fix that Black Pudding is love, Black Pudding is life

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 02/01/2025

So I did a thing, this was timed with an autosplitter on my steamdeck (Linux), it is janky as all hell but it works

010

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 01/01/2025

second reply, once I'm actually comfy doing any% again that's when I'm adding in the emeralds (even though I'd like to be back up 4 or 5 places in any%)

010

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 01/01/2025

slight redaction that was still about 2 minutes slower, my brain is melted enough that it can't math today. 35 secondsish off for time bonuses. so what 18:37?

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 01/01/2025

Going by pure RTA that's about 35 seconds slower than my PB (16:52 rta-tb) (I hate not being able to autosplit this) I feel myself getting back to where I once was. I wish my old splits in the vid had an rta timer on it. Still that's one hell of a lot of rust knocked off.

It's a Christmas Island miracle! Presenting the native PC port of Sonic 1. All ~25k CPU instructions in the game have been painstakingly reimplemented in C. A revision 1 ROM of the game is required to play (for reading data). github.com/foreverWIP/s... #sonic1cport #sonicthehedgehog #gamedev

With this release, all ~25,000 instructions of code present in the original ROM have been successfully reimplemented in C. The game is now fully playable from start to finish. There are still a few...

@pbr64.bsky.social this is what 6 year of rust looks like on any% RTA run (gonna have to manually take off time bonuses post run thanks to linux timers being a tad pre-historic)

020

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 29/12/2024

Somewhat related to the above @pbr64.bsky.social I'm coming for your all emerald time.

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 29/12/2024

Welp the main thing that was keeping me from doing s1sms runs has been solved about 90% (lack of decent speedrun timer on steamos) gotta fiddle the 10% and then find that motivation thing.

110

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 22/12/2024

Thanks to @pbr64.bsky.social I've been derusting S1sms and realising quickly my trusty old DS3 is not up to the job any more... so many dropped inputs and it's not the game for once.

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 11/12/2024

Bonus grump, those using the terms skeet and reskeet please Google what else it means...

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 11/12/2024

I accept, that I can't force my distaste onto others (as much as the ability to control minds would be an amazing start to my villain arc). But let's be honest this is just me grumbling, and there are a ton of great streamers I can watch when that's turned on.

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 11/12/2024

It's a feature that I'm glad I don't have to moderate even with communities with very similar rules and expectations. That said, I am but one grumpy git, I like moderately active chats that you can actually interact in, so of course it's going to irk me.

100

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 11/12/2024

I personally feel it's kind of half baked, and needs a few features before it's ready, the option to have bots only appear in the channel they're actually in for example (and only react to that channel). The simple to opt out as a viewer.

100

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 11/12/2024

Today's grumping comes in the form of twitch shared chat, a feature you as a viewer can't opt out of, and incentivised with AI emotes (that really didn't help did it?) Combined with how twitch blocking works (i.e. they can still see you!), I don't like it from a safe guarding or user experience.

110

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 09/12/2024

Welp if I didn't need more of a reason to dislike funko pops.... Guess RPG can't put obsidian catalyst on there... For now...

030

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 06/12/2024

Site literally was showing me that one post on it's own till you said that, I now feel a fool.

010

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 06/12/2024

I didn't spend an hour at 5am trying to work out why the kde version of wallpaper engine wasn't working on steamos to realise that it was just easier to go back to the stable branch.

010

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 03/12/2024

Actually trying to play the Kazoo, they're no vuvuzela but it's cruel and unusual

010

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 03/12/2024

Oh no I've had to unfollow Argick on twitch for this war crime

110

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 03/12/2024

I do love the 30th anniversary themes for the PS5 though it does make me question why doesn't my PS5 have themes normally (Bonus half a cat loaf)

050

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 02/12/2024

So two things making me a little grumpy this evening, one which is the bigger of the two, turns out if you block someone or something on twitch they can still see what you type. Second, lewd tubers are following me, Why? I won't follow them back and most likely will block them.

010

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 02/12/2024

You forgot one, Sonic Blast :) You should keep forgetting it!

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 02/12/2024

As a former sms runner sonic 1 8bit it feels so jarring to me going to the gg version with the screen crunch and slight level layout adjustments. But that imo is a mostly fair judgment of the 8bit titles

£25 shipping to the uk for the sampler pack, iirc the variety box was closer to £45 on shipping when I checked with supersonic_'s code a few nights ago.

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 29/11/2024

Very Bad idea: Take nearly a month's break so all the weirdness has been bottle up till that stream

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 28/11/2024

It didn't update to that for me, but worth a check if you've not messed with your settings

Now for putting up with me being grumpy, have two more older cat pics... okay make that three as there were two cob pics, and now a kray getting scritched

Since that last post that's 5 accounts blocked and reported, they're like a bloody hydra. Especially with vtuber models and the like remember if they're doing work for big names they won't need to advertise directly, they will already have a lot of people seeking them out.

000

Dozy Lion @dozylion.uk · 25/11/2024

oh god the art bots from discord are following me... that's three accounts blocked. To make it clear I do not want to and will not buy your art, especially if you're advertising to me directly. If I want emotes or things I will hunt down awesome artists like @cbkx.bsky.social and wait for a slot

Today was a horror show, found out upstairs has a flea infestation. Guess who had to spend £30 they didn't have to make sure his two butts don't join upstair's poor cat in flea hell.

I watched this last night, no one deserves that kind of toxicity being aimed at them. Despite watching a lot of the vshojo peeps, I still remember her as the girl chat raised 2k for a bed for in about 10 minutes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=w42e...
