Actually cooking again has been so refreshing. I used to want to be a chef but traded in my knife for a pen. Somewhere down the line life hit too hard for me to lift a pan. But then everything went to hell and I said “fuck it. I’m doing my thing because fuck you, that’s why.” And it’s been great

Leo had his annual checkup this week. Two years ago he was always sick with chronic ear infections that ultimately resulted in him being hospitalized. Now he's one of the healthiest and most energetic cats the vet has seen. It does my heart good to see Leo be a happy baby after everything.

Leo when he was hosptialized in October of 2023 for Chronic middle ear infections. They took great care of him there, and a large portion of the costs were actually covered by my wonderful twitch community.

Leo Chaosbringer himself, looking upset at me as I had just told him that just because he wants food 2 hours before feeding time doesn't mean he gets it.

Over the last two weeks I went on a journey. I took my first flight down to Charolette, NC for my MFA residency. Met a bunch of people. Learned a lot. Found a second home. Met some friends. Tried Hot Pot. There’s a lot to catch up with everyone on but damn. Too bad I caught a cold at the end. Lol

Over the past 2 days while trying to build Pikachu EX the game just decided to hand me the entirety of the Nido deck (in full arts no less). Honestly? It maths out really good against the best decks in the format right now so I think it's pretty good. Now just to get some Sabrina's and Giovanni.

I'm thinking of sharing rough draft snippets as I'm writing. I'm just trying to channel a lot of how I'm feeling right now into an idea I was slowly working on already. If "Battleforged" was viewing the greiving process through the Hero's Journey, this started as doing that with Depression.

Leo when I wanna sleep 5 more minutes but it's also 20 minutes before his scheduled feeding time.

My cat, Leonard "Leo" Lavon Chaosbringer pensively waiting like a little cutie gremlin as I just want to stay warm and cozy under the covers. But he demands food. He requires the food. It's not like I didn't wake up at 5am to feed him breakfast. Its been 5 hours since then. If I don't give him more food RIGHT NOW he is going to starve to death. So he will proceed to nudge me with his paw and meow while purring in order to coax me out of bed so I will give him the foods.

While a Pokemon game never really feels like a "Favorite game" Its undeniable the impact the franchise has had on my life. Colosseum was actually my first game. Played it durring a sleepover with my childhood best friend who is no longer with us. I actually still have that Espeon in my Pokemon Bank.

Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness are still some of my favorite Pokemon games. Colosseum was actually my frist game.

Trails of Cold Steel is a series I adore, but if I had to pick a favorite game that I love from that set it's the 2nd one. The 4th one is a very close second. This is one of the few games that hit me in a way that made me break down and cry live on stream.

Red Dead Redemption II is going on this list despite the fact that I've not yet explored everything I want to from it. Fun gameplay with an artful and thought provoking story that really makes me feel things. Arthur Morgan is probably one of my favorite video game protagonists ever.

My cat, Leo Chaosbringer, being a sweet cuddly boy while not letting me sleep because he wants food. He is relentless in his desire for the noms. But he's cute, so he gets a pass. Please note the sunshine. This is a reasonable time to wake up.

It's ass-o-clock in the morning and my Cat's butt is sticking up in the air in my face while he is being an absolute Chaos gremlin. This is why we call him the Chaosbringer.

It's funny, but also, please cat. I want to sleep. Just let me sleep.

Also, side note, he farted around this time. RIP me.
