Heey! I finally tried out Ali Hazelwood's YA novel; as always, she didn't let me down. 5 ⭐️ / 5 stars Storygraph Absolute LOVE! It gives me vibes of another book, Ace of hearts, a poker romance. Loveable main characters, I especially love Nolan being virgin at 20- he also gives me asexual vibes as he tell Mallory how he never wished he had been having sex until now- She's the complete opposite and a one night stand fanatic.

Good morning! One more month spent from 2026, Let's see how things went for me. I've been certainly feeling the spooky season! September's feels; I can't believe it's been a month since Sheik has passed.. I finally ordered her a proper urn; it's a small 210ml ceramic bowl with a lid painted with flowers, with a "necklace" with a heart with her face engraved aswell as her name.

I've already expressed about my feeling numb phase, that I've been experiencing lately, but there's something else : I call it my "Void phase".  They both relatively started around the same moment, after Sheik passed give or take a month ago. Normally, as you might know, I had so much trouble trying to relax on my days off.. I have the need to be doing a little SOMETHING productive- even if it's finishing a book, writing posts or clean my house from top to bottom.

Good morning, For me, writing as always been a way to express myself and makes me feel better - and although you guys didn’t really knew Sheik like my dachshund group for exemple, I still want to share my grief journey with you guys. Related; My life just shattered, Books to help you through grief Sheik was 11 when I had to put her down, Which is roughly the same amount of years we had my mother’s dog growing up (the second passed at 10yo); not only was it sudden because of health problems, but she was also my youngest senior, her brother being 12, I kept telling myself that I was gonna miss some things when this is over, but never in a million years would I had imagined she would be the first.

Good morning! One more month spent from 2026, Let's see how things went for me. August's feels; This month was so Rock’n’Roll… and not in a good way. We started the month hopeful- lots of vet appointments. We went twice to our vet after Sheik left the ER to check her lungs Xrays. The first week she was given an anti-inflammatory medication, as the mucus she had in her lungs wasn’t moving (the antibiotics didn’t worked- oral and on IV), and the second week she had been given an inhaler of Fluticasone 125mcg twice a day.
