So, three replies later, that's what I would like to see more of. Human stories, set in extraordinary circumstances, with people who show growth of character and manage to make things better. Not sociopaths bent on taking revenge, which is what Pluribus actually is.

Being a huge Asimov fan, I was disappointed in the first season of Foundation, but felt that the following seasons improved significantly. Still not much of an adaptation, but interesting none the less-- and good science fiction once they stopped trying to make it Game of Thrones in space.

Both of those were great shows, though I still need to finish The Expanse. A more recent show which I considered fresh was Beacon 23. I am looking forward to seeing what Amazon does with Stargate. To me, science fiction should be about the human condition under extraordinary circumstances.
