20 something - I think fat girls and gardevoir are neat, and I'm trying to be better about giving appreciation for stuff I like. I post art that i've commissioned!

I gotta redouble my efforts to get back into creative writing so I can leave better comments on people's art. I want to do better than "ooh this is amazing!" but I feel my grasp of the english language fading whenever I want to explain what I like about something...

Putting these all in the same comment chain for archiving, this is a series of commissions about rivals in the contest circuit! (art by @kappallnight.bsky.social ) Eating pokeblocks/poffins is how you raise stats in contests, so surely all the best performers have got to be pretty big.

The last contest pair! (art by @kappallnight.bsky.social ) These two are rivals in the cute contest circuit, and there's no animosity between them, although Erica (jolly nature)'s eagerness to have a fellow competitor to encourage and fatten up might be a little intimidating to Cassata (timid).

rivals in the smart contest circuit (commissioned from @kappallnight.bsky.social ). Denver (gardevoir, sassy) is a big fan of pokeblocks and pop culture nerd, while Amaretti (espeon, gentle) is a scientist who loves poffins, but they both take an ethuiastic and scientific approach to contest food.

more @kappallnight.bsky.social commission backlog! two rivals in the cool contest circuit, Amber (lonely nature) is a big hit with the crowds and the judges, yet she doesn't quite fit in with the other contestants. meanwhile Tiramisu (adamant) would lose hipster cred if she were to ever actually win

old commission from @kappallnight.bsky.social that was posted to twitter years back but I should share here too. a fat gardevoir for each of the 5 contest categories. eating pokeblocks makes you perform better in contests, so obviously the champions must put away insane amounts of pokeblocks to win.

an old @kappallnight.bsky.social commission from 2024. this is also the glaceon from the contest weight gain sequence. her name is probably Gelato. maybe. she's River's rival in the beauty contest circuit, a rivalry that was entirely River's fault.

my OC, River, a fat gardevoir who's a frequent entrance in the beauty contest circuit. she has a rash nature and is a glutton for beauty-boosting foods. her stage persona is very mild-mannered, but she is prone to diva-like behaviour outside of the spotlight. art by @kappallnight.bsky.social .

another contest commission from @kappallnight.bsky.social , featuring a rivalry between a gardevoir and a flareon in a tough contest. I love how both of their designs turned out, but the sumo outfit is especially great

fat + buff butch flareon girl I just commissioned from the very cool @kappallnight.bsky.social . she's a regular in the tough contest circuit, but right now she's in her PJs.

an epilogue of the above sequence, featuring beauty contestant gardevoir being comforted by her tough contestant friend, drawn by @kappallnight.bsky.social . I've got a few more comms like this that I'll keep sharing every month or so
