Went up to San Jose this past weekend. Had some good food, visited some local spots, but mostly I just slept. Napped and relaxed. My body needed it. I was sure I knew what burnout was and how I recovered from it but it was really triage. This weekend made it clear I need 2 be more active in recovery

Turned 41 today. Got stabbed 6 times by some medical vampire that took 6 vials of blood and a cup of piss. Kinky bastard. Made a half sheet cake for my coworkers, vanilla sour cream cake with fresh strawberry buttercream frosting. And had my favorite Chinese food for dinner.

Made my family favorite half hobbit breakfast. Meaty sausages, extra thick cut bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms and onions, thick sliced toast with butter and strawberry jam, coffee, orange juice and what I like to call scurvy water for my dad since he can’t have oranges. 🍋💧

I went from a guy in the warehouse to Order administration/CSR. I handle all the purchase orders to sales orders/invoicing, answer all inbound calls from customers, vendors, banks. More recently I’ve been sitting in production meetings and offhand meetings giving feedback on customer retention
