Workflow schematic for hyphal network/sclerotia primordia image processing and skeletonization. Grayscale TIF/PNG images are loaded into a GUI (input/output directory) and processed with adjustable steps (remove white/noisy islands, radial threshold, smoothing; or contrast adjustment, edge detection, smoothing) to generate skeletons (all / single / current sample). Output includes a CSV of trait metrics (e.g., center line width, average line length, line/cluster counts) and a color-annotated skeleton showing edges, nodes, and tips.

Ending the year on an awesome note! 5/5 grad students passed quals, 1 GRFP honorable mention to Melanie, a Rhododendron grant to Justin, the undergrads showed out at their conference, 2 papers, >$12M of funding applied for next year, and plenty of talks at botany coming up!!
