Sometimes you find stray turkeys and have to stand guard until their owner comes to get them. 🦃🦃💕

These kittens were rescued from a scary situation where some of their siblings were already deceased. These little cuties still have their umbilical cords and need round the clock care! 🐱 If you’d like to support their care, I do have a kofi, but no pressure at all! ko-fi.com/sheepingly

Someone posted about a stray chicken downtown, so off we went on a rescue mission. Baby is now being fixed up and safe in a foster home who is adopting them if no owner comes forward. Definitely one of the more interesting side quests we’ve gotten! 🐔💕

New intakes yesterday! 4 orphaned raccoons. Their mother was found deceased and a kind person reached out for a rehabber to help her babies. Excited to welcome them to the crew! #NotPets #WildlifeRehab #WildlifeRehabilitation #Raccoon

This rude attitude is not how to share information or convince anyone to listen to what you have to say. I’m part of an established, permitted group of wildlife rehabbers and this is what works for us and our successful releases! I’m sorry it is not what works for you.

Gloves do not play a role in how releasable an orphan animal is in their adulthood. They will do much of their “wilding up” once old enough to open their eyes and they move to the outdoor pre-release enclosure. I’m an experienced and trained wildlife rehabber and this is what works for us! ☺️

First babies of the season came in yesterday! These grey #squirrel babies were orphaned when their tree was cut down. If possible, felling trees should be left until after nesting season (typically March-August in the U.S.) to avoid displacing wildlife. #WildlifeRehab #WildlifeRehabilitation

TNR (trap, neuter, return) is the most humane way to deal with feral cat colonies by controlling their populations If you're interested, there's many places that spay/neuter feral cats for free, and many places that will let you borrow cat traps to do so! www.unitedspayalliance.org

Long day capturing many cats for #TNR! These cats don’t enjoy human contact/wouldn’t do well indoors, so the kindest thing is to get them spayed/neutered to stop adding to overpopulation and lower their health risks. This colony is monitored by a lovely caretaker working to keep them safe. 💕 #cat
