There is so much value in shooting a film until you feel you understand it's character. I develop all my b&w at home.

Moiré on Emilie. Paris Nov 2025

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 23/11/2025

Emilie in Paris, 35mm on HP5. Simple setup away from home, but you don't need much when you have a great model to work with.

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

Thanks!! It's still evolving

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

Laure in Berlin earlier this year

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

The lean. My latest work. I also made the jacket to get the look I wanted.

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 19/08/2025

Well I think bluesky is the right place for that, and I'm not easily offended

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 19/08/2025

I can see that, Julia is quite petite. Just for clarification, I only work with adults of course!

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 19/08/2025

Yes, I can see that. The women in the back is very petite. They are close friends.

It was an artistic as well as a technical effort. My images are getting more layered. I'm trying to get a more grounded effect with a reflective floor.

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 01/08/2025

Moiré projection on Bella.

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 30/07/2025

Movement, no movement. Using the body as a canvas for graphic design.

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

Studio photography, I enjoy mastering the light. No photoshop or ai here!

Never tried double X in 120 before, but it's really nice! I just wish it wasn't so overpriced. Anastasiia in the studio in Amsterdam. #analog #analogphotography #film #filmphotography #photography #artisticnudephoto #artnude #fineartnude #bnw #mamiya #kodakdoublex #apo-sekor

After a lot of experimentation I've designed some interesting line patterns that, when overlapped, make for amazing moiré patterns. #analog #analogphotography #instant #instantphotography #polaroid #photography #artisticnudephoto #artnude #fineartnude #bnw #moiré #projectionphotography

Do you also experience this feeling that no matter the preparation, they improvised shots turn out the strongest? #analog #analogphotography #film #filmphotography #photography #artisticnudephoto #artnude #fineartnude #bnw #mamiya #IlfordHP5+ #moiré #projectionphotography

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

Thank you so much! It is really because I only make free work that I can afford to only shoot what I want, and pursue my creative hunches. Not every idea is fruitful, but eventually I hope to have created a distinctive visual language.

Douwe @douwek.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Thanks Kyle!

Lana, more moiré. Amsterdam 2025. The combination of analytical prep and intuitive shooting was very satisfying! Shot on HP5+ with my RZ67, and a custom projector. #analog #analogphotography #film #filmphotography #photography #artisticnudephoto #artnude #fineartnude #bnw #mamiya #IlfordHP5+
