I've also pivoted Iron Man to a less Staxy brew that focuses on... you guessed it, the Rhystic meta. It makes me feel dirty, but I still want to try it out. Which I did, this weekend! Early results are that 2/3 games I landed a t2 Tangle Wire. You can take the girl out of Mississippi, etc.

FF1: Twelve, although there's some question as to whether the playable characters here need to be represented. Still, some MDFCs of these would be amazing. * Fighter-->Knight * Thief-->Ninja * Monk-->Master * Red Mage-->Red Wizard * White Mage-->White Wizard * Black Mage-->Black Wizard

FF Tactics: Wiegraf Folles Wiegraf is the embittered leader of the both aptly & poorly named Corpse Brigade, soldiers who were discarded without pay at the first opportunity, and took it to heart. Unlike others who turn thief or killer, however, Wiegraf takes the high road til his last breath.

FF XV: Cindy Aurum Let's be honest, there's no way Cindy wasn't getting a card, but just in case... The lead mechanic and main cosplay from FFXV despite not being a playable character, Cindy speaks for herself... except when the wrench does the talking instead.

FF XIII: Dajh Katzroy If you've become a parent, and haven't been back to retry FFXIII since, don't go into it lightly. Dajh will pull at your heartstrings in every possible fashion and have you crying at a video game, guaranteed.

FF XII: Larsa Solidor With the caveat that not including the Judges of FFXII would be a travesty, Larsa was an easy pick for me. Caught in between the impossible politics of his country and family, he manages to fight through his handlers to be your fiercest ally in taking down his brother's plans.

FF X: Dona and Barthello Screw Yuna and Tidus, Dona and Barthello are the quintessential couple of FFX. Barthello was a himbo golden retriever boyfriend before either term was invented, and Dona is 100% his dominatrix boss. It works for them, and why shouldn't it?

FF IX: Black Waltz 1, 2, & 3 (MDFC flip card?) The more evolved, volatile versions of the black mages from FF9, these Black Waltzes are the two-by-two, hands of blue baddies of the game, and they mean business.

FF VII: Jessie This one's pretty much a given, given how well her remake into a flirty, borderline just horny-on-main went in FF VII Remake. That said, Jessie is often the forgotten Avalanche member behind Biggs and Wedge, and that would be a shame.

FF V: Boko We're gonna get some generic and colored chocobos, in all likelihood, but the only named Chocobo that's an option is Boko. He's not just a mount, he's a friend. ...but he'd better be a darn good mount, WotC!

Because I'm mad/appreciative that Paige got there first, a quick run-down of the minor #FinalFantasy characters I'm hoping to see in the #MTG crossover 🧵 FF I: Tiamat, for the memes. (For those that don't know, there's already a Tiamat in MTG from the D&D crossover)

After writing up an entire article on the best untappers to find with Repurposing Bay that can let you go full Birthing Pod... I can confirm that Repurposing Bay is not Birthing Pod. I did come up with a list of about 10 commanders that it's decent in, however, so it's not like it's not good!
