I find the battle system creative and there are a lot of design decisions that make the game feel very modern, but as bosses start adding more pressure, I feel forced to use useless skills or skip turns, and it becomes yet another game about grinding to keep my magic number high

Second time giving Chained Echoes a try and end up dropping at the same point. The game starts pretty good, but as soon as it let's go off the player's hand and you leave the first town, I stop enjoying it

Been playing the original Professor Layton games from the DS and it made me think about how, as excited as I am for the New World of Steam, Layton definitely doesn't need to be a AAA game that takes 5 years to make. We've lost so much with the end of cheap portable consoles

Back when I moved from #Unity to #Godot, it took me a long time to get used to the engine not detecting C# changes and compiling everything automatically. I'm now again using Unity for a job and I'm like wtf this engine compiling my code without me asking for it
