One thing that scares some about European travel is the supposed language barrier. But with smart phones now able to translate on the fly, even unilingual users can enjoy a visit almost anywhere - even places they can't read the alphabet!

The marriage in 1885 threw me off. It used the translation of the name Desrosiers to Rosebush. I've since learned that this was common, but until tonight I hadn't figured out that was the same person.

Thanks for posting this. It allowed me to find out where Pamelia Desrosiers ended up. I had her in my Ancestry tree as a 4th cousin twice removed of my wife, but hadn't found the move to Keene. The gravestone is wrong, she was born 27 Aug 1871 in Ste-Élisabeth, Québec, Canada near Joliette.
