There is something about wild-ass doujin character designs that scratches a very specific cosplay itch

Please share & give to help Nehad's family, which includes 7 children, survive & rebuild their lives in the famine & devastation left by Israel's genocide in Gaza. They're in urgent need of shelter, essentials, and healthcare:

Gonna need more non-disabled people to see stuff like this and understand that ableism is also one of the integral -isms the right is devoted to, so it should be jettisoned whenever and in whomever you encounter it

I recently got diagnosed with cancer and need some help with meals and paying for treatment. Please help me spread the word! 💖 mealtrain.com/trains/439l26

Image has a cosplay of Ena Shinonome and Teto Kasane. Text on image reads: Help a Cosplayer with Cancer! Hi all! I, Ash, just recently got diagnosed with overian cancer. Because of that, I will be having a full hysterectomy on February 25th, with chemo to come soon after. I made a meal train where you can donate or send gift cards to help aid in my recovery, and it would mean the world if you'd help spread the word! The clickable link is in @kasaneteto (on instagram)'s bio. Thank you!💖

I think its fine to have art content you dont enjoy, approve of or want to see, and establishing a personal boundary is healthy But as anti-porn and anti-art fascism continues to ramp up i think you need to weigh how publicly calling people freaks, degens, weirdos etc is feeding these attitudes

I have been dogshit at picking up and actually playing visual novels recently. I think the last visual novel I semi-played in full was Bible Black… :(

One surprising insight I came across while speaking to letters is that the job is mostly contract work with freelancers. One of if not the only full-time paying letterer job in the U.S. with benefits is at Fakku. Yes, that Fakku. I spoke with founder @largehotcoffee.com about it.

Jacob Grady: "The manga industry is notorious for contractor-only work; it's pretty cutthroat. Right from when we started publishing manga 10 years ago, I had a goal to improve the industry and make this a real career for people," Fakku founder Jacob Grady told io9.
He continued: "All of our typesetters are full-time salaried employees, with health insurance/vision/dental all 100% paid by the company with a 401k retirement plan. The goal is really to make this a long-term career for people, and provide job stability for our employees.
