But the patterns that led to those mistakes? they dont excuse them but they definitely matter. No ones hopeless in that- but its hard to do the work- to stop being offended that youre misunderstood- and its hard to accept some peoples baggage its just going to clash and be too much.

Its a two way street. And its never about behaving correctly every time, we gotta give people the grace to care in their way, as well as speak up when something doesnt feel good. Its such a struggle because we judge people so harshly for their patterns of mistakes, we have to.

People can get so offended when their intentions or efforts are seen in a bad light. But as much as we can benefit from understanding and believing in good intentions- the fact is we all live different lives and we cant know or assume what will and wont hurt someone.

I never read the manga, and i really liked the art style of the 2001! But its fascinating to compare and contrast them because Gure and Akito feel SO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in a way i absolutely adore. so mysterious, so unapologetically themselves!!! >:u i LOVED IT

When you can find someone to be vulnerable with its dicey. It feels really good to know someone sees your flaws, but they see your efforts too. But vulnerability gets so twisted into dependancy. And then its easy to lose balance- acceptance can turn into expectations or needs.
