Because I can I'm inflicting my shitty art on others. After last few days I needed something soft.

I LOVE that I'm not the only one that imagines Travis has some skills he may have learned in life as the "I know a guy" who was unaffiliated with any particular mob family. In my HC was absolutely a courier and chauffeur, and occasionally helped his missus with scene cleaning.

I can absolutely imagine that a few years from now Travis will fully admit his script "The Pure Boy" was pretty terrible. However. Angel: "The Pure Boy" was a dumpster fire. Travis: Yeah, it was. Random intern: "The Pure Boy" was a dumpster fire. Travis: Hey, you watch your fuckin' mouth.

What really makes this is that is the expression of someone who's already accepted he's losing all feeling in his leg, but that's Future Travis's problem. 🖤

New Small Moments chapter. In a way I've come full circle, since bits of this chapter going through my head last year inspired me to start the fic, even though I was convinced it was too weird and soft. archiveofourown.org/works/682198...

Imagining Travis absolutely abusing proximity texting once he realizes Ethan secretly likes it. Ethan sitting at his desk. Phone buzzes. Travis: hi Ethan slowly looks up. Travis is visible through the doorway. "Go away." *buzz* Travis: no 🖤

Don Darryl Rivera is the fucking goat. I'm so excited that he's finally going to his first con, and let's hope it will be the first of many. I need him to sign something Travis related. >:3

Welp, I'm not dead. I've just been pretty bad about keeping up. But I am writing again. After all, it's only been what, four months since I updated? 🙃

I just realized, I have a Small Moments chapter I wrote back and have been keeping in my back pocket since July. Where I am right now is actually the perfect time to post it. Lemme go polish it.

The fifth chapter of Small Moments is up on AO3, and I'm glad to finally introduce a canon-based OC who's been rattling around in my brain for a little over a year. 🐟 #DirectorsNotes archiveofourown.org/works/68219851…

It is very important to me that they continue to show moments where Valentino is cute, charming, or even acting sweet. It really shows how Angel Dust fell into his trap. Showing moments where he is appealing as how he lured him into this horrible relationship.

Took me forever to barf up the second chapter, it's like half the length of the first chapter, and I'm terrified it's come off as cringe. 🫥 archiveofourown.org/works/68219851…

While AO3 is down, I'm going to try finishing the second chapter of Small Moments. Viv really said, "Here’s a nameless assistant and a chaotic gremlin," and I said, “Got it. That’s my husband and his situationship. I’ll be taking them home now. They have taxes to do and trauma to unpack.”

The man was a terrible person. I'm not sorry he died. I'm sorry his kids had to witness it. I'm sorry for the trauma it caused innocent people. but HE WAS NOT A GOOD PERSON and I won't pretend I'm sheeding tears for him.

While I didn't make it to Animate Orlando, the Missus did. She delivered the bracelet I made for Blake in the Assistant’s colors and the name ETHAN on it. He was touched by the note with it, and said that it sometimes blows his mind that even the smaller background characters have their fans. 🩵

Regarding gifting things to creators, voice actors, etc. at cons and such: I know fan art is a-ok to share, while fanfic itself is not for legal reasons. My question is, what's the stance on fan comics/doujinshi? Anyone able to weigh in?

Jesus Christ. Today I learned that in the original Silent Hill, Harry and his daughter Cheryl were supposed to be named Humbert and Dolores. Thank fuck THAT got shot down. (But at the same time, that does suggest that Japan considers Lolita a psychological horror novel.)

Found a post complaining about how fujos shouldn't interact with normal fans. I went off. "My grandmother wrote Kirk/Spock in the 60s. Who the hell are you to come into a space that women have dominated since you weren't even an itch in your daddy's crotch and try to throw your weight around?"
