I cannot recommend this enough. Cinny is a great client, Fluffychat is the best on mobile. Nheko is the best if you use Linux. Don't forget to export your encryption keys when you first log in. Anyone who has a server to self host, set up matrix-synapse and expand the federated network!

If you have a model (VRC avatar in my case) that doesn't have enough padding in the texture, try this blender compositor node group. This works great to fix visible seams in the UV, especially when there's not enough padding for the mipmaps. Just remember to change your color profile to standard.

I'm impressed by what NVK has achieved. The driver still is not ready and the poor performance and application incompatibility has me booting into my Windows install more, which is not what I want to be doing. So I'm going back to the proprietary Nvidia driver for now. :(
