Ngayon lang ata ako napagod sa story ni Jonaxx. Gustong-gusto ko talaga stories niya pero ewan ko ba, ang bilis kong ma-drain sa Nightfall Promised. Siguro dahil hindi ko bet yung pagka-immature ni Rhia sa early chapters, tapos dagdag pa yung pagiging sobrang secretive niya kay Aquil.

One thing I really admire about Jonaxx is how she writes romance. Kahit simpleng tinginan lang ng mga characters niya, o kahit description pa lang ng eksena, nakakakilig na! Basahin niyo 'to. Sobrang ganda at very light lang.

Nag trend to last yr, pero di ko binasa agad because, to be honest, I'm not really into teen fiction anymore. If I do read one, I usually prefer stories with a time skip at di naka-focus entirely sa teenage years nila.

The story follows a typical sageuk romance, except it's much steamier because of the R18 scenes yay. Nabitin ako sa ending, siguro babasahin ko na lang yung Novel version niya.

Tempest Night is an R18 romance manhwa. The FL is a peasant who wants to free her sister from a life as a kisaeng. She eventually becomes the reading assistant of the ML, a blind nobleman who is actually a deposed prince.

Do You Want Me To Lend You A Lighter? is a bit controversial for readers who don't like the student × teacher trope. I actually liked how the FL chose to run away from the ML to avoid more issues and give both of them the chance to grow separately and pursue their own dreams.

I enjoy reading fiction, but enjoying a story doesn't mean I romanticize or tolerate everything that happens in it. Marunong akong i-separate ang fiction sa reality. I can appreciate good writing, complex characters, at dark themes without believing na morally acceptable sila in real life.

So far, ito yung pinakanagustuhan ko sa mga works ni Miss Isabelle. Next I want to read is Always The Second Best. After 11 years, I visited Ms Isabelle's account, but sad to say, parang wala nang chance na ma-continue yung mga ongoing stories niya. It’s a total heartbreak for me.

Actually, I really love how Isabelle writes her stories. The first book I read of hers was back in 2015, entitled Old and Unwanted, which was followed by Journey to Forgiveness. I remember being super stressed out by the characters in those two books lol.

The book also tackles good parenting and makes us realize that we must don't let the ghosts of your past ruin the person fighting for your present. Di siya nakaka-stress basahin at ang ganda din ng writing style.

My eyelids are so dry and ridiculously itchy! This all started after I dyed my hair last year. I can't stop rubbing kay super katol, and they're already flaky. I've even gotten under-eye wrinkles from all the scratching! 😭Ay ambot damo pabi biga!
