tally hall is playing a reunion show in ann arbor and tickets sold out literally right before i could get them for me and britt. i am devastated

the part in conclave where cardinal lomeli describes cardinal tremblay as "having all the advantage of seeming like an american without the disadvantage of actually being one" is very interesting now

i watched it again the night before i left for college (which was, coincidentally, the night before he died)

120

wearing my #77 jersey today and it feels just a little sad

020

i think i've convinced her to give me first dibs on any she wants to sell so i can take my hockey fan friends who didn't get tickets to a game

150

every time i see one of these i hope i'll have missed an announcement and swipe through it to be pleasantly surprised... but it never comes

000

debating going and getting a fruit cup and a cheese stick or something from the cafe downstairs until i can get actual dinner

000

i know, i will figure something out once the rain slows enough that i can make it anywhere without being drenched. i locked in too hard on my essay and kind of forgot about time

100

110

120

Neil Cicierega - Wallspin

i have music playing in a separate window so i'm not distracted messing with it and i was Very confused when this was wonderwall until it wasn't

this is also a type of title recommended on the LSA "how to create a good title" page so i think that may be contributing to it

my english professor said that no matter whether she's at a conference or reading a paper completely independently she can immediately tell that they're from umich because the title is always "Quote From A Source": Topic Of The Paper and i just remembered that after doing it 😐

130

not enough! in my english class a paper of a similar length was worth significantly more. we are graded on less things overall in this class but the amount it's worth is not equivalent. this is essentially an assessment on the last unit of the class

110

am i crazy for finding it ridiculous that a 5 page paper is worth 15 points in one of my classes

220

i will say what i am most impressed by is the amount of thought and organization that went into it from what i've seen. it looks like he was thinking about this as if it was a real place. that itself is impressive to me outside of the quality and detail of the builds (which is also pretty good)

i just looked it up and that is legitimately incredible work. and also what a cool way to relax, tbh. i am crazy impressed
