I love the one you're doing. It's simple, but elegantly done. Here's my last piece. Done on plastic canvas w/wool Navajo Peace Fleece (half stitches). I call it Smoky Mtn Moonrise. (Eyes & hands seen better days. 😂)

If you can imagine it, you can do it. My only thought is if you do your design on interfacing, the magnet may show through. Normally you use the interfacing to stabilize the material (like a tee shirt). I like plastic canvas for magnets personally. Here's a tee I did 30 yrs ago.

When I was in HS in the 70s & Alice Cooper was popular, I'd wear wild makeup every day. Like a lightning bolt down one side of my face or each eye in multiple colors bordered by black to simulate stained glass. Went great with bell bottoms & a halter top. 😂
