yeah, i agree with you just the idea of being a cool artist and getting paid for what you're good at and what you enjoy ended up killing me. and also everything is done with the goal of making it look good in your portfolio it reminded me why i hate money

i know i shouldn't force myself to do anything, but it's hard for me to admit that i can't do the things i used to do anymore. and it feels like it was already hard enough for me to post my drawings, and now this just gives people another reason to forget about me.

random shit talking about myself that i noted down before falling asleep. not that you need it, but i wanted it to be here. >

i feel like i'm loosing myself somehow, but i don't even know if i was ever myself.
i don't really know what that actually means.

i've always had this cringy line in my bio 'i'm just trying to find myself' and i don't delete it cuz it's my respect for my younger myself.

like, yes, i'm still trying to figure all this out, but you know what? you're better than you thought. you actually done a great job of finding yourself over the years. but for now i don't know which versions of me should talk with me right now.

recently i felt that special creative spark of twelve years old me again while planing some craft things. and i guess thats a good thing? but at the same time i didn't draw what i wanted to (i have three wips for artfight and some refs). maybe it's because i'm still burned out or something else, but i'm afraid i'll lose my skills if i don't draw as i used to before.

i don't know why i'm writing this here. maybe i just need to vent out somewhere and it's easier to do it here since i've already forgotten how to post my art.

but maybe i'm just dramatic, lol.

Had to tap out of #ArtFight early, but I did clean up my last planned attacks before I go crawl into my hole Targets were @loghan.bsky.social, @shanicetjn.bsky.social, @sygnin.com, and TorquemadA (a friend who’s not on soc med)

Sketch of Loghann’s two OCs Cole and Dezrita standing and chatting together in a city park. Dez says “give ‘em a shot, mate!” to Cole, who looks over his shoulder

Sketch of Shanice’s Kpop Demon Hunters Joseon AU Abby and Jinu gossiping. Abby is a general and Jinu is a court musician

Sketch of Sygnin’s oc Medea the Witch Dragon, a huge shadowy creature that roars into the sky. Its body is covered in geometric shapes

Sketch of TorquemadA’s OCs Vincent and Mathé sitting on an alley, wearily talking. Vincent looks at an out-of-focus Mathé as he speaks

Digital painting of artist’s OC, Tian, in greyscale. Tian is well-built with a long face, black monolid eyes, and black curls cut in a low fade, wearing nothing but a chain necklace. A cigarette juts out of his mouth. He is painted from the ribs up, leaning against the headboard of a hotel bed; the pillows in their white cases are stacked neatly to his right. His gaze is steady, leveled at the camera as if posing for a photo.
