I have it in my head that I will reread all of ASOIAF prior to the release of the next book, once we have a date. It looks likely that I'll be retired by then, so I'll have plenty of time.

The series was commissioned too soon, IMO. If your source material is incomplete, thanks George, you're on a hiding to nothing. But it's over 15 years since the premier, and the release of the source material for Season 5 of the show.

They're bastards. The house behind us used to have a cranky Rottweiler in the back yard. Dividing wall is 1.8m high, so no worries. Another neighbour's cat used to walk along the wall, stop near the big angry dog and just stare at it as it went apeshit. The prick of a cat got a kick out of it.

Well, Munster's primary two outhalf options are out until the new year, at the earliest. I have my doubts that Jack Crowley will return at all. Vascular issues are extremely complicated, and he'll be the guts of a year out of the game. The scrum should be more solid, though.

Sitting on the couch watching MOTD with my dog, and realised he's 10 human years old today. There's still plenty of life in him, and he's had a very relaxed life of sleeping on furniture he wasn't supposed to be allowed on, but the reality has hit me like a train. We don't deserve dogs.
