Ben Folds Five will probably always be my favorite band in my heart. The shelved attempt at the self titled album being released is really cool. This version of emaline may just be my favorite version of the song now. Really feels like a missing link youtu.be/6e0x4fSxDDM?...

I love early ECM stuff because it borders on jazz fusion, but its not quite the same. Which of course there was fusion on the label as well later This record is still an all timer for my money youtu.be/T5l_MqLzxGA?...

Ive progressively become more and more obsessed with this album. Its melodies are often relatively “simple” but are so cool, and the harmonic choices are also amazing. And idk if its just because jon brion produced this, but the arrangements are amazing too! youtu.be/Djtxbiy1bcw?...
