Well, here it is: Wikipedia's best article.
Jeremy duQuesnay Adams (October 1, 1933 – May 2, 2016) was a medieval historian, polymath, and translator. His interests included Joan of Arc and the Matter of Britain, as well as human groupings and exclusion.[2][3]

He was an inspiration for the character Jeremy Hillary Boob in the film Yellow Submarine.[4]

I liked PITT a lot more when the trolls minded their own business. This was the one place for crushed parents and we can’t even have this space anymore without the crazy cult and their pitchforks.

I’m so sorry this happening to your family. It’s typical playbook manipulation from this group of folks. Conform or else. I’d rather the or else. It’s not easier by any means but it’s certainly less abusive.

You shouldn't have this space. It's not good for you. What you should do is accept your kids for who they are. But PITT teaches you to wallow in self pity and to be cruel and mean to your children while blaming non-existent conspiracies in Minecraft. Being on PITT is the reason you are so miserable and destroying it would be the biggest favor anyone could ever do you.

All your suffering is self-inflicted and could be ended overnight if you simply had the strength of character to admit you were wrong.

It WAS a support group of parents. And yes, I did like it. People were actually kind to you in the comment section. Obviously word has gotten out. As if we haven’t lost enough already.

You haven't lost anything you would not last a day in a trans person's shoes. This is not a support group it is a cult for abusive parents. Good riddance.

In 1995 Newsweek opened an article on anime with a profile of artist/fashion designer Hushi Mortezaie, then a student. In 1999 AnimeNewsNetwork published a weirdly hateful response baselessly accusing Mortezaie of heroin addiction and declaring him "probably dead" (in reality he'd opened a boutique)
Hushidor Mortezaie is bored with being human. He's ready to mutate. He's got a tattoo on his leg of a battery pack and a bar code stamped MADE IN JAPAN. He's had a nose job, some lipo. His close-cropped hair changes color like a mood ring. Even among the freaky salesclerks he works with at Patricia Field--a store servicing the fashion fetishes of New York's downtown club scene-Hushi sticks out. In his Japanese clogs and plaid Bermudas, he doesn't just look like a cartoon. He wants to be one. Not just any cartoon: a Japanese cartoon like Speed Racer or Astro Boy! He's getting contact lenses that'll simulate little 'toon twinkles in the corners of his eyes. "That black sparkle," Hushi says. "To me, it's the ultimate in being a posthuman android."The article started off not with a mention of, say, Osamu Tezuka or Hayao Miyazaki (as more well-written pieces in the New York Times and a few others have), but with a description of a 20-year-old mowhawked heroin junkie with a microchip tattoo. While it admitted that the notorious MTV show Aeon Flux wasn't REALLY anime, it did insinuate that fandom for the two were one and the same. And it associated all of us with this beautiful person who, truth be known, is probably dead or is sucking bottom in the American cultural food chain. Certainly MY role model...

In March 2000 a comics reviewer wrote a negative commentary on issue 1 of Garth Ennis's Punisher, and received the following response. It remains untopped in the history of online discourse.
hey u piece of horse shit

the punisher is one of the best Marvel books ever published

i know all u like to read is books approved by the comic code (which is something just as worthy of a gang killing as u)

u motherfuckin hippy

i hope u die

and if u ever say shit bout Garth, i will seriously kick yo' fuckin ass all over this Goddamn place

I looked at the Gareth Roberts one (from before Arday's suicide) and I'm actually surprised it's still on the site.
The Jason Arday affair has been a great revealer. On the one hand, it is a glorious romp that has brought much-needed mirth to the nation. On the other, the exposure of Professor Arday isn’t really about the guileless Arday himself, but the establishment that elevated him. It has served up a moment of unavoidable clarity in which the nonsense of progressivism stands exposed like the imperial scrotum.

Aaaaaaaaand the writer apparently still thinks Haiti is part of Jamaica
From the doorway of the room came a loud, booming, joyful voice with a musical Jamaican lilt. It was warm and friendly, and it made my blood run as cold as liquid nitrogen. “Detective! How are you!” Alex’s eyes shot open. His mouth dropped. He pointed like MacBeth at Banquo’s ghost. I turned. There, in all of his tall, wiry glory, was Bokor Baracus, voodoo necromancer and supernatural mercenary. His arms were spread wide as though he expected a hug. His teeth were bared in a massive grin.

If Hoyt and Scalzi weren't enough, now we have Gerrold
The judge stared at the Pope for a long moment. Then he looked at the CPS lawyer with a glare so harsh, I expected lasers to shoot from his eyes. “Did you do any background, Mister Gerrold? On either the defendant or that batshit insane woman who had to be dragged from my courtroom?” The lawyer gaped, uncertain of what to say.

Is the Evil CPS Agent a vampire?
As the CPS lawyer stated I could just leave my guns at the office, and Carlton answered that we’d been shot at in the home, repeatedly, I drifted off. I watched Meadowsweet and took up my rosary. I eventually tuned out everything and fell into a reverie of prayer. I only paid attention again when Meadowsweet growled, “Stop it!” I blinked and started, looking for some sort of threat against her. So did Carlton and her lawyer. Meadowsweet pointed at me and snarled, “Put it away! Put it away!” Both lawyers and the judge looked at me. After a moment, the judge asked Meadowsweet, “Are you referring to the rosary?” “Yes! It’s offensive!”

Okay, I usually hate this writer's pop culture references, but any mention of Brian Blessed (especially in that role) gets a thumbs-up from me.
He shook his head. “Not a thing… okay. I may have seen a few flashes of light here and there. But it blurred by so fast, it looked like a shootout in Flash Gordon.” “Buster Crabbe or Brian Blessed?” “Blessed wasn’t Flash Gordon.” “No, but he stole that movie.” Pearson laughed. “Point taken.”

An antagonist who wasn't even interesting enough for one book is, apparently, going to be a recurring villain. Great.
Pearson stood next to me and looked down into the hole in the stage. “What happened? Where’s Bergolio?” “He used the Spear of Destiny to escape by punching a hole in reality.”

This guy's meant to be a Jesuit leader
Bergolio smiled at me, the fox locked into the henhouse. “Oh, no, Detective. We’re going to kill the Pope less because of how I’ve been treated, but because you Christians have stolen and destroyed our world! And now we’re going to return the favor. This week, we kill the Pope. Then, once I take over the Catholic Church, it’ll be our turn.” I raised a brow. “And who is this we?” Bergolio waved around the room. “You know who we are. We are the worshipers of Wotan. We are worshipers of Diana. Worshipers of Moloch. We are every faith your White god has banished to the outer darkness.”

If you want your monsters to be scary, then best not compare them to dated special effects
Then the werewolf slammed into me like a car. It smashed me down against the train tracks like I was a mailman who had pissed off the local mastiff. I had always considered wolves to be rather elegant creatures. This looked more like a starved bear with a close trim. The head was wolf-like, but the eyes were dead inside. The fake shark from Jaws had more lifelike eyes.

FINALLY WEREWOLVES
One of the things they gave me on my way out of Rome was a large, leather-bound volume that looked like an old phone book. Inside was a ready reference guide for the most common monsters and supernatural entities in the wild. It was a bestiary that the Catholic Church, as a whole, had come across over the course of two thousand years. I didn’t need it to identify the big furry things as werewolves, or the fanged as Vampires. However, I did need it to specifically identify the beasts like a cross between a bull and a dire wolf as a hell hound … wearing armor. If this was anything like the hell hounds I’d encountered before, I couldn’t see the difference. Those had been literally on fire. These had horns like a steer.

Boy howdy does this author hate Jesuits
A pagan military unit was going to try to assassinate the head of the Jesuits. Which sounds like the dumbest damn plot I can think of. Why the hell would they do that? Why would anyone kill the head of the Jesuits, aside from some really pissed off Dominicans? What benefit does anyone get out of it? I must be honest, one highly uncharitable thought went through my head. Why stop them? It wasn’t like Bergolio was going to be missed. At best, he was an idiot. At worst, he was a heretic and a thief. Either way, would anyone miss him?

Lena, who was adopted, seems unaware that gay couples can become parents via adoption. And she's aware of ancient Greek pederesty, but she's only just learnt that transgender people exist?
Lena glowered as only a teenager could. She skipped the rest of that. “And her question about marriage? Even stupider. You marry to have a family. To have children. There’s a man, there’s a woman. They have sex. They have children. Who marries men to men or women to women? This isn’t ancient Greece. Even the Greeks didn’t prevent them from marrying women. What would be the point?” She stuck her tongue out like she tasted something nasty. “And the Greeks seduced children as a hobby. Blech. “And guns?” Lena asked, working up a fine lather. Her hands started flying so hard and so fast through the air as she spoke, one could have easily guessed she was Italian. “Why are guns a problem? The Russians teach children to use AK-47s! And homeschooling? Mariel tells us we’re smarter than most our age. What idiot thinks this is a problem!”

"See! See!? The fictional 16-year-old I invented agrees with me! I must be right!"
Lena rolled her green eyes and smirked like I was slow. “Not that. Why would anyone listen to the woman we’re hiding from? She didn’t like my answers.” She gave a little shrug. “So what? Her questions were stupid.” The bottom fell out of my stomach. I almost didn’t want to know what the questions were. But I had know what Meadowsweet had asked. Lena scoffed, derisive. “Like a man who calls himself a woman is now a woman? How stupid is that? If she calls a rock a flower, it’s still going to hurt if I throw it at her.” I smiled a little. That sounded more like Jeremy talking than her. Lena continued. “We should go to the people who employ her and tell them her questions. They will lock her up.” I frowned, thinking it over. “Problem is? That it isn’t the case.” Lena looked at me like I had three heads. “No. Not possible. That would be like letting men into the ladies’ room.” I blinked. “Don’t ask. It’s a thing.”

The next hour consisted of menial business on the part of the Internal Affairs investigators. IA Detectives Hoyt and Scalzi were particularly unengaging. It was almost like they didn’t want to be there, which was unusual. Even sympathetic IA guys usually invested more. Usually, an investigation began with asking the officer what happened so they can get details, then compare it to what they knew.

More shots at the Jesuits. (And the Markist brothers, whoever they are, catch a stray.
Pearson scoffed at Freeman, then sighed. “You see, Bergolio hasn't been the same since the Pope was elected. He’s technically not the top Jesuit anymore—the Pope is. And let me tell you, Pope Pius XIII has considered dissolving the Jesuits. There have been questions of orthodoxy since the Pope has come to power. There are certain theological questions that have been raised.” It was my turn to scoff. “About time. What took him so long?” Pearson smiled. “He’s been busy dissolving the Markist brothers. May I continue?”

The series' portrayal of Nazis is fascinating (derogatory). We've had Muslim Nazis, a secular Jewish Nazi who wanted white genocide, and now Odinist Nazis who are bad because they hate Christians. And because "National Socialists are still socialists" (and therefore equivalent to SocDems)
Alex shook his head. “Any of these dummies have anything in common?” “Well, the multiple flavors of anti-Christians usually have one thing in common. They’re almost entirely communist. Sorry ‘socialist,’ ” she made air quotes to go along with them. “Whether it’s ‘Democratic socialists’ or ‘national socialists,’ they’re going to be tossing around some sort of commie BS. Don’t even ask me why. It feels like one part identity politics and one part ‘we can make communism work if it’s a commune of our people.’ At least, that’s the closest guess I can make.”

I can't help but notice that the author's articulating his respect for Asatru purely by pouring scorn on forms of Asatru he doesn't consider proper Asatru.
Francesca laughed. “Idiots, mostly. And please, that doesn’t even scratch the surface of all the people who want to worship Norse gods.” She waved a hand as if to encompass and orchestral section. “They’re all over the place.” Bill smiled—at least, the beard moved enough to imply a smile. “Ah! Like the Fluffbunnies.” Francesca rolled her eyes. “‘Everything is love and light, and Freya is a love goddess.’ Yeah, right.” Bill sighed. “Yeah. That was a short date.”

From on-point to drivel in three paragraphs
Francesca rolled her eyes and looked at Alex. “There are some dickheads out there who think burning churches is a good idea. Thinks that going back to the old gods are the only way to fight the Muslim hordes. That sort of idiocy.” Bill scoffed, combing his beard with his fingers. “Guys like that aren’t even qualified to be Norse al-Qaeda. Frankly, a Norse al-Qaeda would have try to engage everyone in personal combat, and go down swinging. The idiots you mean don’t even do that much. They’d rather commit petty vandalism and run away like cowards.”

Ah, here come the neopagans. And surprisingly, they're being treated with rather more respect than the Jesuits. We, sort of.
“We’re largely Asatru here,” Francesca continued. “And no, before you ask, we’re not Nazis. We—well, Bill and I—actively kick their asses out of groups when we find them. Asatruars aren’t Nazis if we can help it.” Alex blinked. “You’re what?” I sighed. “Asatru,” I echoed. “They worship the Aesir. It comes under heathenry.” Alex looked at me askance. “Isn’t ‘heathens’ a rather wide net?” I held back a groan. I didn’t want to have that discussion. I was going to sound like a Wiki page if I wasn’t careful. I hadn’t had to use any of this knowledge since I acquired it, and I would have been happy if I never needed it ever again. “In this case, heathenry specifically refers to Germanic pagans—Scandinavia, Iceland, etc. Started with German Romanticism, when naturalism was a thing. I blame Rousseau, myself.” Alex nodded … slowly, calmly, and patiently. “Don’t we all? I mean, he’s French. He should be blamed for everything. But you know what? One more time. What’s I-say-true?” Francesca rolled her eyes and laughed. “Ah-sah-tru. We worship Norse gods.” Alex looked around at everybody. “Was that so hard to say? We couldn’t have started there? I read Thor. About thirty years ago… okay, forty. Before they made him into a movie character.”

Taylor’s smile was … polite. But cooler. “Most of our men aren’t religious. Just spiritual.” I sniffed and thought, Satan is also a spirit. You may want to clarify.“Spiritual and not religious,” Alex muttered. He spoke directly to me as he said, “Should we tell them that Satan is also a spirit? And you’ve met it? And kicked it a few times in the crotch?”

Looks like we're in for some heavy-duty Jesuit-bashing. Still waiting for the werewolves.
I sighed as I looked out over my window at the Long Island sound. “Bergolio’s a Jesuit. Pius XIII isn’t too happy with any of them. They’ve been playing with heresy for decades. Liberation theology BS. That sort of thing.” Alex sighed. He paused for a moment, knowing he was going to regret asking for clarification. “Remind me. Liberation what-now?” I considered giving him the full version but decided to make his life easier. “Marxists read the Bible and declare Jesus a Socialist.”

The hero visits an occult shop, and confirms that he's not really a free market advocate.
“In your case, buddy? I can shut you down right now. Hell, give me five minutes of research, I could possibly throw you in jail.” Solari arched a brow. He sensed a deal coming. “Unless…?” “Take your crystal ball, your Ouija board, everything you have that has been touched by Hell to give you this power, and you throw it out. Burn it. Smash it. Then send it to Staten Island or New Jersey where it belongs—in the garbage.” Solari’s eyes narrowed. “And what if I don’t?” “Then I simply enforce the law.” I held up a finger to silence him. “Do yourself a favor—learn to cold-read people. I think it would be better for both you and your client if you were a simple fraud.” He looked surprised. “Really? You’re the morality police now?” I gave him a casual smile and a shrug. “Look. I can’t stop your clients from coming to you. I would if I could, but I can’t. If they don’t go to you, they’ll go somewhere else. Much as I’d like to, I can’t save anyone without their volition. What's the logic here? She's already accused them of CSA, which is surely serious enough to stand without bringing up their stance on gay marriage. (Plus, if I were Meadowseet, I'd bring up the dad's belief that God can make him levitate)
Meadowsweet continued. “And you’re raising them in an atmosphere of hate.” She flipped to another page. “Your new daughter believes that there are only two genders. She thinks that the transgendered are insane and that marriage is only between a man and a woman. Your son wore a T-shirt that was anti-Muslim. And they both think that abortion is evil.”
