Trump also said that Ukrainians should get rid of Pres. Zelenskyy for not ending the war and he blamed Zelenskyy for the cost of diesel in the U.S. (Yes, I know that this is inane.) A better idea: let's get rid of trump as OUR president. An even better one: trump should become president of RUSSIA.

Not ME. Age 74 and I haven't voted for a Republican for at least 40 years. I also haven't missed a single vote since 1981, whether it was a primary, special election, or general election.

You nailed it- sadly. I've worked with emotionally disturbed teens, and I can't- and won't- laugh at mental illness any more. (Which is a positive thing, anyway. I'm a much more empathetic person than I was when I was younger.) But the things going on in the White House are APPALLING.

Well, as a senior who hasn't missed a single vote since 1981, I've ALWAYS voted for the future of my children, and now my grandchildren. That's why I don't remember the last time I ever voted for a Republican at ANY level of government.

He never has, never will, understand that "respect" doesn't come from fear and bullying. It comes from trust and behaving admirably. Those who you bully may obey you for a short while, but will ALWAYS work to undermine you and will eventually succeed in overthrowing you.

Ahhh, what a man. Or maybe I should say, Superman! Y'know, it reminds me of the old idea, when I was a kid and people were far less sensitive about disabilities (I'm the mother of an adult with autism), that "insane asylums" were filled with people thinking they were Napoleon or someone.

I think it's more likely that his sanity is very, very shaky. I think he honestly believes all the garbage he's spewing, but at this point, doesn't understand the harm he's doing. You're right, he had a brilliant career at the beginning of his professional life, that slowly went the way of madness.

We're seniors in our 70s. My husband of 43 years and I both proudly voted for Sec. Clinton in 2016, Joe Biden in 2020, and VP Harris in 2024. And my dad, then aged 89, voted for Sec. Clinton as well (he passed away in 2019).
